I'm a Flanger junkie ( I have about 15 different ones) & this one is so good. Ibanez had a Flanger way back that had random oscillations and Paul had it incorporated into the AF2. It has a lot of A/DA DNA as well. But it has a brasher,brighter sound. It's perfect for distorted or over driven sounds. The take off mode sounds nuts but I'm sure some tweekers out there will put it to good use. It has a lot of sounds & for $149.00 it's really well priced.

@carnageriot94 I imagine that if you took a regular flanger and cranked all the knobs it would get something similar, but this sound was specifically made for this pedal so it wouldn't be exact.

I've had this for about a year, and the honeymoon is over. Not warm enough, and doesn't sound good with distortion. The take-off mode is too loud, too (as mentioned). Gonna have to try an Electric Mistress, Hartman or EVH now.

A great example of this pedals sound is at about 1:29 in Paul Gilberts song "Will my screen door stop Neptune". He uses both the taxi and take off-modes in that little breakdown part :)

I've never been a big fan of Flangers. I think i have the 80's to thank for that. I found they always sound sleezy and cheap. But this one has changed my mind. There's alot of great sounds in that pedal.

This is the flanger pedal I've been waiting for. It's pretty much all I want in a flanger - enough settings to get a bunch of sounds (I love the throaty sound you get later in the video), a mode specifically devoted to crazy noises (would love to combine Takeoff mode with a killswitch for rhythmic fun), it's the signature flanger for my hero, and it's PURPLE! I think I need an Airplane Flanger, and maybe a 3rd Hand expression pedal for the Takeoff Speed control.
