I think He did awesome since this song is mostly really high notes that most people have to train their voice to sing I think he made it his own and did wonderful!

He totally killed the song. I don't think that he even sang I high enough, I also think that he just kept making the phrases too breathy. I hated the way he sang it but I love this song in the movie.

He took a big risk, and it totally paid off.

He made the song new, he put it in a new style.

He obviously likes and respects the original version and he wanted to put his own spin on it.

Thats when he messed up on the show. he forgot the lyrics. thats why you are confused! the lyrics on screen are correct, but David messed up.
