  • I thought it was the Tourettes Guy at first. lol

  • the bracelet explians the thousand yard stare..

  • Its barely a Mosin any more...

  • So if I just wanted to leave my mosin as it is. I would stop at part 3?

  • im haveing issue with my 91/30. at 50 yards i get all x's but at 100 when it should hit target, its missing the target board completely , i believe this is do to front sight (same issue ive had with an m14) , but i dont know how to adjust the front sight , any suggestions???

  • is that a richards microfit stock? and yes the rock solid ind. stuff is amazing, i just got my turndown body today for my m44. i went with the utg trirail set up and so far it is way better than the aim rail i had (stripped the first 5 shots).. keep up the good work on these videos!!! you make me want to build another one after watching all these.

  • just brought my 91/30 a week ago and i am following these steps (but im not Sporterizing mine) they are great thanks soooooo much for uploading these videos! :)

  • You are and have been an inspiration in my mosin journey.

  • I want to do a bedding job on my M38 nagant. Would it benefit from pillars? And is it worth bedding the original stock?

  • Considering sporterizing my M38, I hear the Ati stock is pretty decent, good vaule for money

  • I love it. Video is "Consider your options" and Eric's shirt reads "Life is full of choices". Hinting at something?

  • How do you like the boyds stock i am thinking of getting the thumbhole model for my 30/06

  • Iraqveteran, Ever thought about making a DVD outta this stuff?

  • @KeeperOfTheOath If someone will publish them, yes.

  • @Iraqveteran8888 PBS could put you in between antique road show and this old house and then they would have a hit. You could call it This Old Gun. LoL but of course PBS would never have a gun show....maybe The History Channel ....

  • @Iraqveteran8888 i would buy a dvd

  • @Iraqveteran8888

You wouldn't even need a publisher. Do everything yourself over the internet and sell it on a site.

  • @KeeperOfTheOath

If he did Id buy em

  • ever thought about making a DVD?

  • I might do this to my Izzy 91/30 if it comes out good.

  • this is getting interesting, I may buy a second mosin to do this with

  • what id like to do is get a mosin and re barrel it for 30/06.

  • @derekgrebner87

How come? The 7.62x54R is a cheap and good ammunition.

  • @derekgrebner87 The Francis Bannerman and Sons. company did just that but its a little more complicated than putting a new barrel on. They took Remington and New England Westinghouse Mosin Nagant M91's and converted them to 30-06 due to the scarcity of the 7.62x54r cartridge in America during the 20's and 30's. I cannot post a link in the comment box but google it and you can find out about them. The Bannermans are quite interesting!

  • so for seen how rifle look like is part 5 have a great sunday

  • Your shirt choice was perfect for this video. :)

  • ☆☆☆☆☆

  • i like your shirt

  • Question about shortening the barrel. How will that affect muzzle velocity, and accuracy over distance? I don't know the twist count per length of barrel so was just wondering. Thanks and keep up the great work.

  • @iraqveteran8888 look to last post!

  • @ iraqvetren88. Why the Huber trigger over the Timney trigger? I guess I like the Winchester 70 safety way better that the Timney trigger offers for a sporter. With the Timney trigger you can go and hunt with a little easier.

  • : )

  • does refinishing the stock affect the historical value?

  • I thought about getting that exact stock-very nice choice I can't wait to see how this turns out! Also really curious to see the crop and recrown portion-on to #5! Again-great work Eric!

  • hey iraqvet i have a question. i am going to be doing the same thing soon. i am going to use ati stock pretty sure anyway. is the scope mount and bolt body really worth it for rock solid because i was just going to get the one from ati bolt and scope mount. but by the way you were talking i dont think you like them are are they really that much better for the price thanks

  • Love the grain on that stock. Magnificent.

Personally i wouldn't sporterize my Mozzie as it's an 81 year old Tula hex reciever and it's a deact, makes a nice wall flower as it is.

  • Wow I like that stock it's going to look great. I would like to put my request in for a Mauser Series also. Thanks.

  • if you want to shorten the barrel and and add new irons like williams irons how would you go about doing that

  • btw, are you gonna keep the original woodframe or are you gonna put a new plastic one...cause that would be a shame...

  • @anteracmacash He's going to use a pepper laminate Boyds wood stock....as he stated in the video.

  • I see you're rocking a beard lately :)

  • dude that stock looks like its gonna be sweeeeettttttttttt

  • is that a famas?

  • @brazilianEYEreportU LMAO no it aint, its a mosin nagant

  • Fantastic videos dude, that's gonna look awesome once it's done. Is it possible to attach a box magazine instead of using the internal one?

  • I really want a Mosin Nagant. There is one for sale at a gun shop 300miles away from where I live and they want $99 for it. Its in really bad shape though.

  • @NinjaTuna101 A gun that is 300 miles away? Damn...

  • @Iraqveteran8888 where did you get the stock from ?

  • @NinjaTuna101 I'm sure theres someone a lot closer to you than that, that is selling one. Every gun show I go to I see a minimum of 10 of them. There's plenty of stores around that sell them too.

  • @huntwithairguns I live in a very remote area. Small village of 1500 people and the next village over is 140miles away. It has a gun shop but it doesn't deal in army surplus firearms.

  • @NinjaTuna101 Cabela's has them for 150

  • @psychoclown420 And that's over priced.

  • @NinjaTuna101 Get a Curio and Relic FFL so you can order that gun by mail. Let them spend the money on gas while you stay at home and rack up the savings.

  • @NinjaTuna101 I just got an email from Buds Gun Shop DOT com and they have them on sale for $92 shipped.

  • @NinjaTuna101 check aim surplus.com, or J&G sales.com they are from 70-150 dollars they are in good-excellent condition :D

  • @NinjaTuna101 Unless you literally live "in the middle of no-where" then its not worth it, Espessially if its "beat up". You can find good mosins for 100$ at the right store. Try Craigslist or online. I wouldnt do it.

  • @NinjaTuna101 where the hell do you live?

  • @NinjaTuna101 If you really want a nice mosin, J&G . com is the place you want to be. They have many nice examples of mosins at great prices.

  • @NinjaTuna101 You should be able to get an excellent condition 100% blue ukrainian refurbished 91/30 for under $90 if you shop around. You basically paying $150 dollars for that gun because of the gas to get there. I would strongly advise against buying that gun if it is just a typical 91/30 in bad shape.

  • @NinjaTuna101 Check out Buds gun shop dot com.

  • @NinjaTuna101 I got mine at Cabelas. Also you can order them online on alot of websites. Cheapest I have seen was at jgsales.com for 80 bucks. good luck

  • @NinjaTuna101 you can find a nagant almost anywhere in nice condition from $90-$120, If no other store around you sells them you can always get one on gunbroker (dot) com

  • @NinjaTuna101 Buy one online...internetz!!!

  • @NinjaTuna101 you can find them online for $150 or less... and if you have a C&R FFL you can have it shipped to your front door.

  • @NinjaTuna101 im 16 and a really big gun nut haha first firearm ive ever bought was a mosin nagant, it was in great condition (except for a little rust under the barrel) and i picked it up for $180 canadian, it came with 20 hunting rounds, and 20 FMJ rounds, and its alot of fun to shoot! it has little recoil which i love! great for target shooting at the range! i would definitely recommend this rifle to any amateur hunter! i absolutely love mine! and you will too if you find one in good shape

  • @xV3l0z1TYx no one cares kid , you need to be 18 to have a PAL in canada, therefor mommy and daddy bought it for you. On a side note no one cares about your age neither.

  • @moose1ale yes my father did use his pal to get the gun registered, he did not however buy it for me, nor had any intentions to buy it for me. i love long arm history, and i bought all of my guns with my hard earned money! im 16, and ive hunted since i was 12! i have a passion for guns, and you just seenm to think that im just a spoiled brat with a gun! you sir are wrong! i have my own job, so everything i buy, i buy myself. i dont even accept money from my parents! so quit assuming things!

  • @NinjaTuna101 Where do you live? I am happy to have a gun shop with tons of surplus rifles 1 mile South an 1/2 mile East of me.

  • Good job bro this series is coming along awesome 5^

  • @TnGunNut Hopefully this gun will shoot great. We'll see.

  • @Iraqveteran8888 Do you think it would be possible/practical to put a PSL/SVD optics rail on a Mosin?

  • Comment removed

  • One of things I have always wanted to see is barrel removal of say 10 rifles. Savage 110Fp, Rem 700, WWII rifles that have been silver soldered and are hard to remove.

  • Like the series alot, would you consider doing a mauser series?

    thanks

  • @fluffymyllama It's possible, yes.

  • @Iraqveteran8888 I also would like to see a Mauser series.

  • Great series man, enjoyed it
