@AncientArabianRocky Just thought I'd say this: most falls are the riders fault, but every rider takes a fall. What makes these people amazing is the fact they fall and get back up. YOU AREN'T A REAL RIDER UNTIL YOU TASTE THE DUST A FEW TIMES. end of story. the people in the video know how to ride, you ever try to guide a horse over a cross country course?

This video, although well made is a prime example why sports with jumps like that should be banned or better monitored(in my opinion), far too many horses fall. It's painful to watch some of the clips.

some of those falls are quite nasty, alot of the horses are still trying to jump the fence even though they they havent got the right sride coming in and falling the other side. jus goes to show how much the horse trusts its rider. :)

ok it was ok except the whole flashing lite thing.... i dont know why people do that in their videos, but i thought the whole point of MAKING the video was to have people WATCH the video..... not make them blind and make them have to constantly readjust their eyes and try to find out whats happening other than the flashing with the "music"

As much as I love equestrian sports, when I see something like this I wonder... Is it worth it? I wonder how many horses are destroyed after such falls because of fractures, broken bones or knee chips. It just seems so sad to risk it with such a lovely animal. That said, it is a thrill to ride a horse over a jump and to have a bond with a horse like that.

My mare put her leg through a fence and fractured it... Putting her down was an option but we decided that 3 months of stall rest would do us good with extrays every month.Her leg healed perfectly no complications and Iam jumping her at 26 years old

Ouch! I had a bit of a fall today. Well, kinda more of a belly flop off of a horse. I was trying to do an emergancy dismount at the canter, because it;s required for d3 in pony club. My horse, well, she knows to stop if she feels your seat change or slip. So, I was halfway off, when, suddenly, she stopped. I belly flopped to the ground, and she just turned her head, and I'm sure she was laughing at me. Then she just started licking me until I got up XD
