It's a play on words, that's all. They also use it selling plenty of other products. Plenty of companies use music in advertisements, it's not like this is some brand new thing. I personally enjoy hearing all of the different versions of this song.

I'm sure Scott Tissue, Listerine, and All Detergent helped pay for the cost to produce this ad and pay for it's airing. It's a strategy called co-op advertising where Target and the brands both put up cash to produce the ad. I doubt Target randomly picked these brands b/c Scott Tissue is like sandpaper on your asshole. I think the play on words is creative, but blame freakshow Michael Jackson, he owns the rights to all Beatles songs, Target didn't get to use the song for free.
