hey guys i'm thinking of getting either this or the panasonic sdr-s7, which one should i get? i'm really liking the toughness of this cam but you can't rotate the screen 180 degrees and i'm gonna be making travel blogs all around asia this december if that helps too, i mean any opinion counts so please let me know :]
is that the video that im seeing full quality or is it better the actual quality of the camera? is it posible from any other site to see the full quality of it?plz anwser
i've heard the quality on the actual camcorder is a lot better quality than what is seen on youtube and regular playback on a tv or computer is great.
i just bought this camera and i made a 2 minute video and it ended up being 250 mb so that is two and a half over the limit that youtube alows. what am i doing wrong. i was using it on XP should i lower it to LP?

ok, there are actually videocameras that do better pictures than the SDR s10, but none of these is lighter, more crashresistant, watertighter or smaller than this cool camera. If you plan to do outdoor vids, this camera is absolutely worth its price!

Im looking for some cam for fast and not-so-perfect video moments. We got 3 childs and small-watterproof-anti-shake cam should be cool for us. But im sceptic of this one. I need more video examples. This video is good, but should be better to test also dark scenes (in the night) and fast moving objects. Please if you anybody buy or test this one, post some video to show us power of this good looking cam.

Don't lower to LP, the video became worst. Use Video Converter to convert to Xvid Mpeg4 320x240 30frames Mp3 2000kbps( or 900Kbps).
It will end up at 100mb(youtube spec)or timeline limit to 10.30minutes only. see my video channel. Are your video formats is MOV or avi??

There are other samples (and not as compressed) from this camera on YouTube. I was just watching one that barely showed any compression.

Yes there are better. Mpeg2 does not need a noob.The vid shown isn't all that bad, the sound was very revealing and clean

of course it is. S10 works also with 8,5MBit/s MPEG2 video. The S10 rather has DNR artifacts but it is visible mostly in darkness.
