  • 0:37 is quite disturbing

  • For those who are interested in the gory one ;) bestgore.com/road-accidents/tom-pryce-death-video-cut-in-half-during-f1-race/

  • Ayrton's death caused williams renault a lot of trouble. they had a lot of cut backs, so they lost a lot of races.

  • It's sad to think that Williamson could have been saved if the marshalls had been wearing fire retardant overalls :( I feel sorry for the driver who tried to rescue him...

  • Well Flavio Briatore is for ever out of F1 and i only wish that Ron Dennis could too. Not to mention the little greedy midget Bernie Ecclestone, that short ass little twat wanker.

  • @Sooksawaspakdee961 yes Flavio's a cheat. but c'mon Bernie's made F1 what it is today no denying that, and yes he is a greedy, short ass little twat wanker. but he knows his job. He's 82 now and who can take his place?

  • i want villeneuve and senna back so much and ronnie peterson. i miss them so much. r.i,p <3

  • Ratzenberger and senna died in the same weekend. first razenberger then senna.

I could even sacrifice myself to get those 2 people back. I would really do it. i miss them.

R.I.P Ratzenberger 30.4.1994 and Senna 1.5.1994 WE MISS YOU <3

  • :42 i saw tht wothput censors. I am haunted TO THIS DAY by that video. Do NOT watch it

  • I believe that the helmet materials may be stronger now, but I doubt very much that even today's visors could withstand a direct strike by a suspension component.

  • @95bochamp They can't. Ask Felipe Massa

  • @sCoryvo I didn't see it before. Thats terrible.

  • it is just lucky the cards are safe now

  • RIP au plus grand champion Ayrton Senna !!!

  • Rest in Peace Ayrton. Greatest driver to ever have lived <3

  • terrible at 2:28 you can see Gilles Vileneuve flying through the picture D:

  • Gilles was the most horrifying crash i have ever seen.. Jesus..

  • @DeepAbsentia The tom price one is the most horryfying when you see the non-censored version. That marshall got ripped to pieces and Tom Pryce's head almost came off when the fire extinguisher hit him.

  • Just finished watching the new Senna Documentary on him... Very touching..... Very touching indeed. The freaky thing was its asif he knew he was destined to die that day.... (I am atheist myself) but the look of him in that cockpit before beginning the race.... I have never seen him that..... distressed in any other races beforehand.

  • what a music

  • Happy Birthday Gilles!! 18 January 1950....you will always be in our hearts! <3

  • Senna would not have survived if he had been wearing neck restraints. He would still have been hit by the right-front suspension that pierced his visor.

  • @95bochamp In Sennas case it was an incredible coincidence. god decided to have him in heaven. no hans could help him, but modern helmets are able to reject even a suspension. you can shoot with a pumpgun and the helmet remains ok.

  • Palleti did not die because of the fire extinguishers. He died because of a detached aeorta in his heart caused by the impact.

  • Villeneuve didn't die of 'complications'. He suffered severe head and internal injuries, and was later removed from life support. Unlike Villeneuve, Ronnie Peterson was awake and conscious when he was taken to hospital, and later died because of a blood clot.

  • @95bochamp

If i remember correct, Peterson died while being in surgery. doctors almost where able to save his life but he died on surgery table.

and death of Gilles probably always will be one of most horrible ones in F1. i've seen that car he was using untill his death, in Ferrari Museum. When i looked inside the copit, i couldn't believe that it was so weak that it broke into peaces but at least Gilles didn't suffer.

  • @Cynderfan35 Don't need to worry about the state of the cockpit, the reason Gilles died was cos he was flung out of it :(

  • @fluffymole0913

it always probably will haunt in my memories. sometimes i see dreams that i'm driving in F1 but then die like one of these people who have lost life because of lack of safety and other reasons.

At least today F1 is more safe but its never completely save like we saw last in case of Perez, Massa and Kubica without dropping off accident of Kovalainen.

  • Paletti died from Blunt force trauma?

Villenuerve died from complications as did Peterson

Ayrton Senna and Roland Ratzenberger died from brain trauma (Brain Death)

    RIP ALL FALLEN HEROES

  • what was the cause of palettis death?

  • @addeman81 Internal injuries i think ?

  • @addeman81 when he hit the back of the stalling car, his steering column hit his chest, killing him instantly

  • It is sickening to think that through all the mayhem and hardships Formula One has endured, teams would still go on to order one of their drivers to crash in order to benefit the other (crashgate/Nelson Piquet Jr.). These brave souls put their lives on the line every weekend doing what they believe in, what they love. I don't think " Rubens, let Michael pass for the championship" is what Senna had in mind.

  • Why is 0:47 blurred? Was it horrific and bloody? Just wondering couldnt tell what happened. Looked a little deeper and watched the uncut one her is a link but its just awful glad it was covered up, I see everyone on here saying rip tom pryce but no sympathy for the 17 teen year old struck by him.

  • Can anyone tell me what happened to Riccardo Paletti?

  • @TheWatchme14 he smashed into the back of the one that stalled and the front wing hit him in the face, i think thats wat happened

  • R.I.P from England

  • Rest In Peace, to all of the drivers who are seen in this video, and thanks for blurring out some gruesome stuff, like the marshall at Kyalami(I think it's called), and RIP to him too.

  • Still miss Senna's magic to this day.

  • my God poor Villeneuve

  • you left out the two most rfecent fatal accidents in F1, Monza 2000 and Australia 2001. In each accident a volunteer marshal lost their life

  • The most incredible thing to se is when i racer gets out of his car and try helping a dying racer! Respect! And R.I.P everybody!

  • Shiiiitt that guy at 0:42 had to be dead on impact... no way you survive that amount of force at you're legs and the smack he makes when he comes back down again O.o

  • @Fr0zeN231 it was a double fatal.

Tom Pryce was the driver who hit him.

Took a fire extingisher to the head.

    The marshall died too.

  • Was there bodyparts/blood on Tom Pryce's car at 0:55 ?

  • @sCoryvo I am afraid so...

  • @sCoryvo Well he drove through a person at 200+ kph, there would probably be some blood yes.

  • @sCoryvo He was decapited.

  • @sCoryvo an fire extinguisn ter of the marshal hit him in the head

  • Lol guy @ 0:42 is fucking nuts he almost gets killed himself O_O

  • @ElfrangerProductions He was killed do you really think if a F1 car hits you with 280 Kmph your still alive?

  • @xBatboys4

Lol i didn't even notice the second one :O I ment the one that almost got killed

  • I hope the free Space at the end of the video is not for more drivers to die.

    R.I.P. to these Heroes

  • at 3:58 was that cameraman the TV cameraman? and if so is there a live shot?

  • @pokemon56761 you want to see him burning to death?

  • Yes there is, try to find it with "Montreal - Riccardo Paletti (fatal) other cam"

  • @Sundin2win thank you for your help, I have found the video

  • not good nor funny

  • AS a swede, it really hurts to watch Ronnie's crash.

  • ayton cena brazil the best pilot in the wold

  • Thank you for blurring out the most horrible part of the Tom Pryce accident. I have seen the raw version and it's absolutely horrific.

  • Notice the huge rash of fatalities in the 70s. Sir Jackie Stewart to this day is adamant that F1 just didnt care back then. The Ronnie Peterson accident is just sick. Totally survivable wreck but that it took a full 3 minutes for fire teams to arrive. By then, the car was fully involved. It wasnt just the safety of the cars but also the lack of track personnel and proper training.

  • @bobschaer The Ronnie Peterson one was odd. He was out of the car very quickly thanks to James Hunt's courage, and everyone thought he was out of danger - there was another driver, injured much more seriously and whose name escapes me, whom everyone was more concerned for immediately after the crash. However, in hospital that night, bone marrow from his broken legs entered his bloodstream, which ultimately killed him.

  • @wahaya2

Was the other driver Ricardo Patrese?

  • lindo video parabens

  • Ayrton Senna will always be in our hearts T_T

  • @MuLenon182 The man who died the day before I was born. Ayrton Senna.

  • OMG the worst by FAR is pryce. in the unsencored version you can watch the marshal splits in two. TERRIFIC(google it if you want, i do not recommend it)

  • @vayancetodoalamierda

And Pryce himself was killed being hit on the head by his fire extinguisher

  • @vayancetodoalamierda I just watched it out of curiosity....I will have nightmares.

  • @robertvonbergen ... you would probabily have a fatal heart attack if you see 3 guys 1 hammer.

  • @ChinatownWieners Ha...does that even exist?! Link?!!

  • @robertvonbergen It does exist. I just saw it....well the first 2 or 3 minutes anyway.Wow. At what point in someones life do they decide that today I'm going to go out with 2 other people and end a mans life in such a manner. Imagine being a wife/mother/father/son or daughter to that man and seeing that video. It's just crazy.

  • @robertvonbergen I can't find it, I searched for like 3 hours.

  • @ChinatownWieners I found it. FML.

  • @ChinatownWieners isn't that the one where some boys kill a hobo with a hammer?

  • @Birdyytko The victim was not a hobo. He was just a normal bystander. The two murderers only killed people that did not look like they would fight back.

  • Every of them was a Man.

    RIP.

  • The hardest ones to watch are when they go up in flames, its unbearable.

  • Did Gilles head come off or something?

  • @lifethelifetoday no the monocock broke away from rest of car and catapulted gilles and his seat across the track and into the fence where the paramedics tried too revive him with no succsess RIP Gilles

  • @lifethelifetoday no his helmet came off, he broke his kneck and died in hospital later that night

  • shame on me, i started loving at Gilles Villeneuve !

  • thanks for blurring the first accident

  • dropped like flys in the 60s and 70s

  • :40 i saw that on another video! >.< he gets split in half... you see his intestines and everything :(

  • @JewMonkeyKiller OMG :((

    R.I.P

  • это действительно страшно, те, кто гонял в то время - настоящие герои

  • It's amazing how safe F1 has become, although some of these crashes, Villeneuve's and Ratzenbergers still may not have been survivable in todays cars

  • Comment removed

  • @MultiW350i

And Villeneuve crash in Melbourne 2001

  • @insimonia1990

Senna would survived with todays necksupport the same for Ratzenberger.

  • @insimonia1990

FOr me it looks like Villeneuve would definitely live. He died because he fell out of the cockpit which is impossible today

  • @insimonia1990

Yeargh, now ya know why that old shithead is roastin' in HELL... : P

If you had been honest to people and treated others fairly, then at least you'd been able to sleep well at night knowin' that you didn't do anythin' wrong to nobody.

But that shure wasn't the case with Steve Jobs tho, so he paid the ULTIMATE PRICE by losin' his LIFE and EVERYTHING ELSE he had!

I just wonder how's he gonna spend all that 100+ billion he ripped offa poor innocent folks while he's six feet under?

  • @insimonia1990 I doubt the driver would be thrown from the car in modern f1 cars, as was villeneuve in '82.

  • @insimonia1990 I think the reason Villeneuve's crash was fatal was due to the fact that he was thrown out of the car. It probably wasn't the initial crash itself that killed him. The harnesses are a lot tougher now. It's hard to judge Ratzenberger's though, because you can only see him spinning, and you don't see him hitting the wall. Take Kubica's crash at Montreal 2007 though. Apparently the force of that crash was 75G, and he only had a concussion and a sprained ankle :|

  • @insimonia1990 how do you know? especially about those two accidents. i've never seen any clear footage of either Villeneuve's nor Ratzenbergs crash and i don't think such footage exists.

  • @zapopaul Villeneuves crash would definetly result in death today, he was thrown out of his car at high speed, the impact would of killed him

  • @jichaelmackson1958 But in this present time the car would not disintegrate like that. The main chassis tub would stay intact. So you could argue that he would have survived. Injured yes, but more likely to have survived,

  • @insimonia1990

Actually they both will survived at the present days. Villeneuve will be not expulse from the car (a similar crash is the Burti crash, german gp 2001, nobody was harmed). Ratzenberger will be saved by the HANS item

  • Tom Pryce got fucked up...

  • tom pryce :(

  • rip

  • started to cry more than a child by 4:34...WE MISS YOU SENNA...WE FUCKING MISS YOU!!!

  • at the other video it's shown david purlley who tried to save williamson's life, but couldn't...and i respct and love him because of it...another example(I'm gonna call him the biggest driver of all time, but respect those english drivers), Ayrton Senna saved eric coma's life back in 1991...both heroes...and senna the brazil's biggest hero of all time!

  • Burning to death is the cruelest thing you could ever imagine.

    R.I.P.

  • RIP TO ALL

  • @massimovts

  • How you have stomach to make this :l , But is good cause we honor those racers. They have my respect.

  • i couldn't see tom pryce's death video because i thought it would be gruesome. ( i have a fear of blood) but please may someone explain to me how tom died?

  • @FATbottomedBOY a track marshal was running across wit a fire extinguisher nd tom hit him... de fire extinguisher hit him on the head nd killed him

  • @Alanoc96 similar to Massa, Hungary 2008 ..

  • @Alanoc96 oooh :S did the track marshall like.. spilt in half or something? :S

  • @FATbottomedBOY pretty much yes.

  • @Pottan23 :/

  • @FATbottomedBOY yes. you can google it. i dont recommend it to you

  • Very sad video, requiem for a dream just fits perfect to it

  • Let Senna be the last F1 driver to make a fatal crash

  • @TvLOverdose senna was brilliant i couldn't believe it when he died

  • one of the worst weekend : 30.4.1994-1.5.1994

  • what a terrible death for pallet

  • why marshals just run over the track? just why? It has taken the life of tom pryce.

  • if i was a kid at the time of the races watching them and seeing a crash like williamson i would be mortified and horrified to look back at it. R.I.P to all those drivers and marshals and to everyone who died during these races rest peacefully :(

  • :'( :'( :'( R.I.P

  • Who lives fast, probably dies faster...

  • Gilles died when his car hitted ground first time... he was thrown out of his car already dead :/ sahme that this was hist last qualifying lap :/ (thats 2:29) R.I.P to all drivers

  • @Killkec

Actually Gilles was comming to the Pit... so was Jochen Mass... Gilles was my hero!

The impact from the crash thrown away his gloves, helmet, socks... Read Dr. Sid Watkins Book!

  • @Killkec Actually when he was pulled from the fence he still had a pulse. He wasn't breathing however. Death wasn't instantaneous. He was on life support, until he passed on 9:12 that evening.

  • did you see that poor bastard get shot out of his F1 @ 2:29 !!?? OMG i hope it was a quick death !!!

  • rip 2::29

  • 2:30..... thats just fucking insane................ ge was rag rolled into the fucking fence and I thought I spotted him facing the left side of the screen near the tyre! still strapped in unconcious!!!That gave me shivers........ R.i.P all you brace race car drivers....

  • Rest in peace all. What a terrine weekend with ratzenberger and senna. At least they died doing what they love

  • at 2:40 is that the driver:(

  • @maroonranger42 Yes , it's the driver

  • I hate that everyone just cares about Senna and seems to forget about Ratzenberger

  • R.I.P Ayrton Senna 4:32

  • R.I.P

  • R.I.P 2:15

  • outs 0:43

  • R.I.P 0:37

  • ayrton senna showwwwwww

  • Jackie Stewart cellotaped a spanner to the wheel of his F1 car in the 60's in case it rolled over he could take the steering wheel off. he said it was the best safety measure his car had.

  • all motorsports enemy: fire.

  • Remember the marshals and spectators who have also lost their lives.

  • @TheEnZios how do you mean?

  • the Tom Pryce video makes me cringe every time

  • the Tom Pryce video makes me cringe every time

  • cannot believe at 2:52 one driver is like overtaking them all :L

  • Comment removed

  • Why did Paletti die? Was the crash this hard?

  • @Skulldetta He was killed when he hit the back of the Ferrari didn't suffer in the fire like Roger Williamson did.

  • @Skulldetta It was a mix of both. He still had a pulse when Sid Watkins and Pironi (whom he hit) went to help him. By the time the fire was out he had passed away. He sustained heavy chest trauma in the crash itself. as he started near the back of the grid he was doing over 100mph when he hit Pironi on pole.

  • what really is sickening is that people 'like' this video! :O

    R.I.P. to all those heroes

  • @bonnemannetje Death Video's Are Hard To Like And Dislike - When you Like Them You Pay Your Respects And When you Dislike Them You'd Wish These Crashes Never Happend

  • @RemcoGamer95 you're right man

  • @RemcoGamer95 No, you like it if it's a well made respectful video, and you dislike if it's offensive. What is so hard to understand here?

  • @ExplosiveFace Whatever, This is about Paying your Respects not about Arguing About if you Like or Dislike the Video mate Get over it.

  • If you guys remember Robert Kubicas crash in 2007 in Canada it just goes to show how massively the cockpit designs improved.. If it was 10 years earlier he would have been killed in that crash..

  • @MrPopeofmaspeth I do remember that crash and I thought he was killed. The most vicious crash I've ever seen in real time. I think he is not the driver now that he was then and that crash might be why.

  • They died what they loved to do. R.I.P

  • Because it was

  • Paletti died from that!!!!!!! What a weak car

  • @LukeTheOne99 It was 1982? Cars just weren't as safe as they are today...

You can't expect those people to build a car back in 1982 that is a strong as an 2011 car...

  • @AyrtonSennaImola I agree we have the better technologies today and better equipment. Think about Webber last year he flew and hit the wall heavily, but he walked away. Thats not what would happen back in the 80s backwards. Back then you could expect something fatal

  • @AyrtonSennaImola Than why call it a weak car?

  • @LukeTheOne99

Paletti died because of the funes from the fire extinguishers used to put out the fire. He pretty much died of alchohol poisoning, not from the crash. It simply broke his legs and knocked him out. It was the fire extinguisher inhalation and the fact that it took them so long afterwards to cut him out of the car that he died.

  • Kings of speed....R.I.P.
