Goffert was one of the best friesian stallions that one the Grand Prix Dressage! He died on May 17 2007 of Colic! He was born on the same day month and year as me june 14 1994!

Great video! Poor Barbaro and Goffert. I really wish that Barbaro never hurt his leg and that Goffert never got colic. I'm sure that everyone wishes that though... RIP.

Thanks so much for this video - I know what a wonderful horse Barbaro was, but this Goffert - what a blessing to get so see such a wonderful dressage horse. I wish I could have seen him compete- such suspension!!!! Do you think he taught Barbaro pirouette at the canter when they met in heaven?

Barbaro was a fabulous racehorse that won several huge titles. He was at the kentucky derby (i think D:) when he broke through the starting gate. They put him back into the starting gate and a few yards into the race he broke his leg. His owner did everything he could do to get him to heal but in the end he was put to sleep.

Goffert 369 was a dressage stallion that was the only friesian to ever compete in the grand prix (not 100% sure that its the grand prix) but he died of colic recently.

He won the kentucky derby by 7 furlongs. Everyone said that he was going to be the next triple crown winner.. The Preakness is wen he broke out of the gate and shattered his leg. He fought for 8 months and had to be put down in january 3 months b4 his 4th bday
