are they remakes or repacks?because i saw tghem in toys rus (not theese exact ones other ones with the same style-however flat card-packaging) so i just thought they were deadstock.are they proper vintage ones or remakes?
is it good to have the original figures from the 80's or whatever, i ran into two old guys who have been collecting star wars for their whole lives and they had all the original vintage figures, i bought 4 lom zuckuss bossk ig 88 and dengar, ive got boba also
@SithLord229 lol i hope u rnt being sarcastic because i wasnt trying to be rude or anything, i have qquite a bit of starwars stuff in my room, i envy him... i was just saying, at least he's not a trecky right? lol
Great review man and I see you on rebelscum a lot. Keep doing the good work and do not listen to some of these people. Also not sure if I should buy multiples. I am an opener but these are so amazing with the packaging so I may buy two.
Hi steve, god preview.i hab the luck to be there on the jedi-con.Im german so it was not to far away from me,of course i have this box too.May the force be with you
Great review Steve, I think that the vintage collection, is a really good idea, I actually have the original vintage 4-LOM, it's almost new, it just has a couple scratches on the photoreceptors, but it is amazing to own a figure from 1980.
Do I see the Commander SithLord of the 229th Star Corps there in the back? =P
Quality review Steve - you're too good at keeping those figure in their boxes - I recently bought a San Diego Comic Con Senate Security Clone Trooper mint on card and in the bubble casing as well - did I keep it like it - did I heck - still I got it really cheap comparing it to list prices...great stuff Steve, keep it up!
Believe me, the temptation is always hard to resist. I have a Kul Teska & Cyborg Maul Comic pack on the way & I want to keep them boxed but I think I may struggle.
I have the Senate trooper too & wish I'd kept it carded, especially after they released Jek & Rys.
Trully amazing review, best SW reviewer on YouTube!!!!! You've helped me to decide what figures to get somtimes, your reviews are just so helpfull, and you give true opinions, keep it up mate:) Thanks so much..............
ugh. A recent obsession with anime has blocked any chances of getting caught up with the Clone Wars line, but I do plan on purchasing the vintage-packaged AT-AT, and the recent Sideshow Yoda. I also want this item, I'll be sure to have a look at the Vintage Collection.
Excelent review Steve. I have to love that packaging. The detail is just phenomenal. The bubble on the card is a little bit different. They are not the same as the ones in the TVC collection. They're more like the VOTC ones. I hope to get this someday.
I'm loving the vintage line. Haven't collected Star Wars since I was 14. These card backs have inspired me to start collecting again. I'm thinking about picking up the whole wave.
@flakelorenz02 I don't wanna be rude but did your parents tell you to stop collecting action figures or did you grow out of it? because my parents arnt to fond of it.
@mogo99ya No, I still collect figures but it's more of the 12" and NECA figures. I tended to grow out of the small 3"3/4 figures for some reason. I had collected so many Star Wars figures too I just couldn't have another Luke or another Darth Vader it was really silly. I think this set would be really cool MIB collection.
The silver foil is a nice touch! I will always know these figures as we learned of them back in 81/82! As per usual a great review! I think Hasbro could do some retro cards in a Palitoy/ Meccano/ Harbart etc...style as that is what we had all those years ago...that and Hovis!
Really cool review mate that would be funny if they mixed up jango and boba in the legacy collection last year that would have been clever Lol anyways great review = D.....
Thanks, Steve, for another stellar review. Having grown up with the original Kenner figures, I am, needless to say, very excited for this set. I actually prefer the retro-inspired 4-LOM (now Zuckuss)--with his beige color scheme and faux leather tunic (though, I wish Hasbro would've given him a trenchcoat like his 1980s counterpart)--to the Legacy Collection version released last year.
Anyway, thanks again for the review. I look forward to see what else the Vintage line has to offer.

@TheActualBobaFett I think its supposed to mean premium as it is an exclusive. It says the same thing on top of the rocket firing Fett's cardback.
