Mutant Waste were doing the same in the mid 80s around Ladbroke Grove and Kings Cross. It does looks like a very good exhibition though and I have agree with the others concerning the facts, but i will definitely past down and see what it's all the fuss is about.

Who's this guy?? Mode 2 was INVITED by the original GROVE writers, Skam One, Hate, Foam, Rio.. He used to sh$t his pants coming down to us!!  Futura 2000 started it all for us, 1982!! and NOT in that bay... LAY LOW for life!!

Back under the Westway to celebrate, If I was in your shoes I'd wanna celebrate with the ORIGINALS, Mode 2 is top artist but not one of the originals! Respect where respect is due.. Bro I could tell you some stories of our adventures under Westway, I've got some exclusive footage from that time as well! Mode 2 is not from GROVE! We take pride in our history!

Graffiti has always been around here long before futura ever step on to british soil. Much of the graffiti was political surrounding the notting hill race riots, then came the hippies followed by the skins and punks. The hippies were very expressive and creative in what they painted for the time, this being the 60s and late early 70s. later on came the punk scene and it was the punk group The Clash who brought futura over to ladbroke grove. people around here have always had something to say.
