First of all some would say Vince Neil does sound like a girl. No knock on Vince Im just being honest... This remake by miss underwood is awesome. I would have given it an A hand down, but I cant. Why? Because they did not do the guitar solo justice. That solo is just as important as any of the lyrics in this song. No worries people Im a drummer so lm not biased toward guitar solos. It's awsome when you tell me to check my facts. Vince co-wrote 2/10 songs on Feelgood. 2/10 songs on Girls. On the previous 3, he co-wrote 4 or 5 songs per album. Now, that would be 19 CO-WRITES. In overall material they released Vince wrote like...10-15% of it. Clearly that is one third of Motley's 80's material, thus meaning you are right and I am a complete and utter moron. This version is amazing! I love it! Carrie brought a whole new life to this tired old song. I like motley crue and the original too, but there is something about Carrie's voice that cuts glass, it is so clear. Great job Carrie!

Even if I wasn't a Carrie fan, I would favor this one over the original. Either the negative comments here are such a far cry from being not true or either the person admits they are the original artists fans. I've seen a lot of bad covers and this is not one of them. What you don't want to see is that if you even knew everything Carrie has sang up to this point, you will quickly know she can sing her ass off.

I respect your point of view. I am a Carrie fan and I like everything she does, but it's all about likes and dislikes, obviously. However, I have noticed that Carrie's voice has become a little bit gutural and that she screams way too much. I like it better when she just sings naturally without forcing her voice.
