in australia we just fill up parking lots at night times and cops pull up with us in un marked cars, majority or great guys get out have a chat but their main reason for being there is cars street racing past cant see them hiding in the groups.

And it's not the police's fault either. They are called by taxpayers to enforce tresspassing violations, so they must. If you are looking for blame, it's the shop owners and nobody else.
