@xoxoVanillaGurl By herself is the best but I would suggestion you look into our training videos, which take you step by step in an easy to understand format which was professionally videoed and edited. We also have on line interactive lessons which shows everything in real time from start to finish on gentling a wild one as well as taking a somewhat halter broke horse to a finished riding horse. laumantraining. com
@xoxoVanillaGurl It is hard to tell with any horse what the right thing is. I have given horses chances that others wouldn't and many of them turned into great horses, but a few we could never really get them over their fears and/or hate. She might be worth the try, I wouldn't be able to tell you for sure with out being around her for a bit. The big key is many people still think of "breaking" a horse, what you are looking for is someone to "gentle" a horse. Good luck & Visit our website.
about the lunging. I bought myself a wild filly for the BLM . I have joined up with her but i cannot get her to lunge. she will only turn towards me and walk to me or go to the gate. she will not go all the way around the roundpen. Any advice???
your ground work is amazing. i think every horse should learn it. it did wonders for me an my hunter and jumpers. ppl who dont know or use it doesnt under stand the benefits of it, under and in saddle. Ranger is beautiful. good work...
I love your videos... if more trainers were like you so many more horses would be happy. I know too many trainers that beat their horses into submission, but watching your videos are really inspiring, and really how it should be.
there are no words for how good you are with this horse, you remind me of my teacher, she had a saddlebred stallion named classic and he was one of the nicest horse i have ever met
In Vietnam,I saw a baby horse tight to a trailer and the owner whip his ass and get hurt and pull the trailer up and down hill..Nothing call Learn....Just go to work!
I have to know! What breed is that little white dog? He is just the cutest little guy. It was fun watching him "help" you out throughout all your videos on Ranger. (I've watched them countless times)
Thanks for asking about Daisy! She is an outstanding dog, the best kind to have around kids too! She is a West Highland Terrier, with a bad hair cut! We have a lot of cheat grass and other weeds that get in her hair so we just shave her during the summers. Thanks and I'm glad you have enjoyed our Ranger videos!
Wow I'm going to have to go look that breed up. She is an absolutely adorable dog. I really thought her bark was super cute! And don't thank me for enjoying your Ranger videos. They are all really amazing. I really loved how you just say things how they are and not try to hide your knowledge behind fancy jargon. Down to earth, and I'm happy that Ranger has a wonderful home when it was all said and done. And THANK YOU for replying to the query.
TERRIFIC the vid clips you are sharing are so easilly understood and well done it is something well worthy of a sincere TY offered from one who has seen a lot of horsemen work young stock. You make it enjoyable to learn not only for Ranger but for us horse folks that look forward to seeing Ranger progress..
TY for offering such a educational tool and enjoyable thing to watch at the same time..
Thank you for the nice complements! We plan to show a video of Ranger at the competition and tell everyone who is keeping track of us how it went! Thanks for watching!
