@st0pnsk1l and that's faster than a Volvo 850R which has 2.5L turbo inline 5 cyl engine with around 240hp stock (this one with straight exhaust will probably have more)...so what engine do you have exactly? Because from what I know the fastest TDI engine in an A3 is the 2.0 TDI with 170hp...so I dunno how much hp you're making, but i don't know if you could follow this...perhaps up to 120km/h....but then this thing will pull away I think...correct me if I'm wrong :P

@deromegadrei Depending on how the ECU works, changing exhaust might do exactly nothing for the power. I'm told, in some cases, a change in backpressure might even lower the power because the software is tuned for the stock car.

I have an old 1982 Volvo 245 Estate(wagon) that has an M46 manual transmission. It has the 4 speed with electronic overdrive. It's not the fastest, but if you ask it to haul....it'll haul! ooh rah! I love it and I'll never get rid of it.

In the United States, Volvo only offered the 850R with an automatic transaxle.

@VolvoManV8 i have an 850R auto....and it does beat the manuals on a standing start 1/4 mile......i would love a manual purely to get over 380bhp, but alas the gearbox wont take it, not the con-rods....but, effortless driving and shifts down real good too......
