I hate how they are too lazy to make opening/ending songs for Kingdom hearts. They just keep using Simple and Clean again and again. They even did it for Birth By Sleep.

Just to get things out of the way, KH 1 was made in 2002. this game was made

in 2008. I think Haley Joel Osmend, Sora's voice was 14 during the making of KH 1. During this' he'd be 20. that's the answer to sora's lower voice

I got this on the GBA, and, after Traverse Town, I CBA! I couldn't believe how awkward the crap excuse for a battle system was, and in the end, decided it wasn't worth the hassle. It's unbelievable - this monstrosity after KH1? That was one of the best games ever and what I genuinely feel is a must-play, and this just reduces me to watching through the story on Youtube, just so I don't miss anything from the series, it was too bullshitty to make me actually care.

Because in KH2, one the dreams/memories that Roxas was having showed Sora, Donald and Goofy in the green field watching Pluto holding a note in his mouth. That voice sounded like the KH1 Sora, then this game comes along and it has KH2 Sora's voice. Hence, Sora's balls dropped while he was running after Pluto.

The voice of the older sora is still the same actor. But (logically), sora probably hit puberty between now and the first game, so his voice got deeper. PLUS, the voice acter is 5 years older. his voice is bowned to be deeper too.

@BirthBySleepVersus13 the card system wasn't actually bad at all. its rather simple and not complicated (you can pull of a combo like you normally would in KH1, 2, etc. and you can reach cure and what not faster then having to select it on the little menu on the side.) the only real bad thing about it is the whole War aspect to it and that pulling off techniques was a hastle.

its sad how a majority are hating on Sora's voice. A) its not the exact same voice as KH2 (you can tell the difference) B) the voice actor most likely tried his best to sound as close to his KH1 voice as possible since between Kh1 and this games release he got older and went to puberty. C) the worst part is the majority is made up of fangirls. D) hating on a characters voice as oppose to the story and other game aspects is just straight up dumb. he's still the same which is what counts the most.

Re: Chain of Memories is a Remake (hence the Re) for the ps2 with full 3D environments, cinematic cutscenes, and the battle system is more refined.

@papernes Actually, he's the same age as he was in Kingdom Hearts as they lead into each other (secret ending; get everything in Kingdom Hearts) and then there is a year asleep. Sora is supposed to be 14 in Kingdom Hearts and Chain of Memories, and is fifteen in Kingdom Hearts II.

in KH1, Sora, Kairi, n Riku were building a boat to get off the island but got seperated 2 diffrent places, Riku got influenced by darkness, Kairi's heart got taken away by Sora by accident and Sora is the story you follow in KH1. he has to go to different worlds to collect gummies (ship parts) and find his friends. but Riku get possesd by darkness and tries to steal Kairi's heart from Sora. in the end it shows Riku locking doors to keep Sora out. dis game takes place right after da end of KH1
