i was a pc user for 5 years until i got a mac. in my opinion macs are wayyyyy better than a stupid virus infected pc. pc's r slow and they get virus's so easily. Macs are fast and dont get virus's and if they do it wont make a big difference when your using it. and sims 2 has the quality of sims 3 set on normal when its on my computer...

You may have to order them online at Amazon.com or Ebay. I don't recall seeing them in the store for the Macs. :-)

Ok for people who think mac are better and pc are better listen up. I hate how people fight and fight all because pcs get viruses and mac doesn't does not mean anything just that it gets viruses, you can easily get rid of viruses. Macs don't have that many games for there OS but with boot camp they can play almost any game. Theirs something called SPECS in a computer that run EVERY computer in the whole world. On a mac with a pc dvd or cd? Yes it will with boot camp and if its a pc then yes you don't need boot camp tho but you have to make sure you have a dvd drive.

Wow people are stupid, they think because its a different OS it doesn't mean the specs are bad. The only reason why i don't like macs is because there expensive intel machines. I like pc because people know pc a lot better than mac and ive learned more stuff about computers. The reason why people might say that oh the sims 2 is crappy on a mac is because of its graphics card. I really don't know if you can switch a graphics card in a mac but its not like its the very first graphics card.

You can use your pc version only if you have a version of Windows installed on the mac, which is supported by BootCamp. I don't get what you mean by your second question :-(

sorry about being unclear on my second question, but can i film SIMS 2 videos and have them saved to a folder on windows (bootcamp) and use them to make a sims 2 movie on Windows Movie Maker? - can i do all that on a mac? hope that was clear! :D

I noticed that the sims 2 games for mac are more expensive than the sims 2 for pc. For example the sims 2 nightlife is 30 bucks for pc and it is 35 bucks for mac. Why is it 5 bucks more for mac?

You can play your sims 2 pc version on the mac only if you use Boot Camp, which is a program that is on that mac that allows that. The only downside is you would have to go out and buy a new version of Windows Xp and have Boot Camp install that in order to play the pc versions. The games I have loaded on the video are Bon Voyage, Nightlife, and seasons.

He's playing the sims 2, and if you want to use the pc cd on a mac, you have to install windows onto your mac using a program called bootcamp.

I used to play the Sims 2 on a PC and then I transferred to a mac. I then got the Sims 2 for my Mac but I soon found out that it has a really annoying glitch. When I use certain build tools in the game like foundations, pools, awnings,... Everything in the game becomes covered with a blue glitch. CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!
