Hi Pegasus, your time will come, if you like, in Vienna ! I am sure to find a chance for you, because our clarinetist, which you have heard, is a Mami now and she is very far away (she is born at Cuba). Let me know, where you come from . You are a "PEGASUS" , you have wings on your body so you can come everywhere "auf den Flügeln des Gesanges" auch Deiner Klarinette ! Ich wette ! Liebe Grüße Peter
This makes my heart leap with JOY! I spent 5 years in Vienna studying clarinet ( Jettel and Schmidl) have a diploma with "excellence" but, with no womens' philharmonic, there was no opportunity or a female clarinetist; in 30 years Vienna has come a long way! Good for you; Best of luck in the future!
who the hell has their cell phone on? What a fucking moron.... it keeps ringing and he/she doesn't turn it off. Still managed to ignore it and nail the adagio though...
With Andrew Marriner, I was moved to tears with so much beauty; with Ms. Carreras, it was goosebumps! It's the feeling you get when there's a spirit nearby! It was simply delicate.
Que coisa mais linda. Que som, que timbre, que interpretação. É simplesmente divino!!! Como não se emocionar diante de tal espetáculo?. Obrigado por postar e,assim, possibilitar à toda comunidade se deliciar com tamanha beleza
Carelys's playing is one of the best renditions of my favorite classical piece of all time! We use it in Biodanza to emulate the Dance of Air, like a bird in heavenly flight.
Beautiful!! Thank you for allowing us to partake in this soul moving video.
Stupenda esecuzione
What I love about music is that no matter where you are from, every musician speaks the same language. These musicians are in Vienna, but it is just as if it is being played before me in Melbourne, just as fresh and beautiful as ever.
It was played in the ending of American Gigolo (sp?) quite a while ago - although I'm not sure of the spelling I do know tis was played in one of, if not the last scene and maybe the closing credits! :)
This is my favorite performance of one of the most astonishingly beautiful pieces written by the greatest musical composer who ever lived. thank you for posting this on youTube.

There are a million things i love about this piece. It was written for mozarts friend Anton Stadler a known virtuoso on the instrument at the time. And this one is demanding. Just listen to the dynamics in this piece. This piece is somber yet playful and full of emotion. And this is fully 30-40 years before the romantics were in full swing. Mozart was ahead of his time. That being said i like this interpretation of this piece.
