    Spencer.

    Spencer.

  • Thanks, Spencer. Beautiful work on this electric version. I especially like the way you doubled yourself on rhythm.

  • spencer, this is the nearest thing to chet ive heard and seen.its a pity your a southpaw as im struggling to plagiarise your chord work.simply magnificent.May i ask a couple of questions:im trying to get to grips with this style of playing having used a flat pick for many years....are you using your ring finger in the picking sequence ? or just the thumb and first two .......are you using a standard tuning ?

    stewart from bonnie scotland.

  • I always heard watching me play was like looking in the mirror for you rightys, so that should help with the theivery, HA HA!. Anyway, I mostly use thumb and 2 fingers but I do use the ring finger often. and this song is standard tuning. keep on picking thanks,

    Spencer.

  • great man i learned some for mine on this

  • Thanks,

    Spencer.

  • I could dream away on this one =D

  • Thanks, it is a beautiful melody,

    Spencer.

  • Very nice version of this great song Spenser!!....Maybe you'll find interesting a different version than Chet's one, from a Brazilian great guitarist Luiz Bonfa in 1963-(its my favorite one..!!).. title is : ''Bossa nova Luiz Bonfa : 2 notes Samba - Tenderly -Sambolero" ..only with a classical guitar n' a microphone,no effects...worth to see it ... (Tenderly part starts at 2:02 )

  • Thanks,

    Spencer.

  • spencer ......wow you have an amazing gift i think you would do george gershwin justice if you would cover "I've got a crush on you" i really think it would be amazing

  • I love your take on this classic piece. Those little flourishes add a lot to the mood of the song. Thank you for this. May I ask what tone settings do you use to get that warm sound?
