Do you find that the Rock Band screen is easier than reading notes? Or is it just different?

@erlt2000 It's very different. In some aspects it's easier, because the notes are relational to the position of your finger. Sheet music doesn't correlate with finger positions nearly as well. My biggest problem has just been spacing - The on-screen keyboard makes me think notes are farther apart than they actually are on my piano, so I often over-correct and hit the wrong keys.

i'm hardly looking to buy myself a midi real keyboard for rock band, but must of the keyboards seem to go midi only trought usb & computers, so i'm looking for one like yours which can get plug directly to the midi rb controller, but with the sensitive note features and the wheel pitch. at a affordable price. if you know a board with both features let me know please !!

@grantd272 With the MIDI Pro Adapter you can hook up any MIDI-capable digital keyboard or piano.

@Waluigifan95 you will only need a wii midi controller adaptor, and make sure to have the same keyboard to plug directly on your wii and no need to go trough the computer etc. basically u need the wii midi adapter, and a keyboard with a midi plug, not usb (most of the keyboard sayd they can be use with midi, but most of them are using midi trough a usb wired

@BayHarborButcher04 Rock Band only charts the notes for one hand, so I only use one hand. That also keeps my other hand free for the OverDrive button.

@RageOfOrder i'm not sure about that, i play fews song on expert. and some seem impossible on one hand, and i use both hands half the time. if you play metal or billy joel, lynyrd skynard, etc, it seem impossible on 1 hand

@danielnault333 Not impossible. Difficult, yes, but not impossible. Remember that most of the RB fanbase has little or no piano training - They have to pick it up on the spot. Of course it's going to be more difficult for you guys. I took 8 years of lessons and I still find plenty of songs challenging. Perhaps I'll have to get RB out again.
