  • just what I wanted! Thank you :)

  • FUCK JUSTIN BIEBER!!!!

  • What the FREAK is a POSITRON????

  • @TheStobler I am a 15 year old, quite new to it but a positron is an electron with positive charge.

In positron emission, The unstable nucleus of an atom has too high proton to neutron ratio so what does it do?

It of course need to gain more neutron or lose proton. Positron emission happen when the proton in the nucleus turn into neutron and positron [ Neutral(neutron) + positive(positron) = positive(proton) ] . The positive electron (positron) fly out of the nucleus just like the beta decay

  • @TheStobler

Positron is the antiparticle to the electron

Yes I said antiparticle, as in antimatter

Antiparticles carry the opposite charge of their 'partners', but the same mass and spin.

  • @TheStobler An anti-electron

  • @TheStobler its like an anti-electron, instead of having a negative charge, it has a positive

  • So, what is too high and too low?

  • Thanks, very simple and useful explanation :)

  • 謝謝您

  • Thank you it was very informative and will help me on my chemistry midterm!

  • thanks good video!!
