  • I saw this years ago on a short film program on SBS (I think.. Maybe ABC) and I loved it. Incredible story.

  • this is actually pretty sick its like perfect stop motion looks like their rly moving its not cheesy its awsome

  • This is such a cute and sweet story. :'3 They never wanted to be separated. Poor guys.<3

  • I find this easy to masturbate to.

  • That was incredible. Thank you.

  • This Kinda Scared Me

  • Chopin Op. 9 No. 2....yes!

  • Made me almost cry! Really amazing video!

  • Great story

    you write it?

  • macabro e bonitinho

  • This made me cry, that's an amazing film, my god...

  • Eu achei bonitinho

    meio perturbador.... mas eu gostei

    achei fofo os dois

  • Errrr... What?

  • How can anyone cry because of this??

  • @bosozoku1000 I cry watching bambi or the lion king. So, heh. not big deal crying. it just shows how sensitive you are.

  • This was absolutely phenomenal to say the least. I felt so moved, I too actual did cry, such a beautiful yet dark tale, I have favorited it, and plan to hopefully buy the dvd copy here in the future...

  • This seriously made me cry. Brilliant.

  • Macabre

  • do not watch this shit high, it'll fuck you up

  • Good Jobb, if you want make me disturbing

  • WTF?

  • very sad T.T

  • Quem veio pelo MEDO B?

  • This needs to be shown all over the world.

  • god, this is amazing! i wish i had the words to describe how amazing this is, but all i can say is your work makes me think about things in such a strange and beautiful way, thank you so much! these are so awesome!

  • Amazing stuff. I think this has to be one of the creepiest and most beautifully crafted things on youtube.

  • that was so moving and distressing... I was horrified but drawn in.

  • okay... at 3:01 i knew exactly where this is going... I'm going to finish the video now but i know i am not going to sleep tonight haha

  • That was fucking incredible

  • I wanted to look away but I couldn't. It was beautifuly disturbing and grotesquely touching.

    Very good job

  • disturbing as hell but a damn good video. impressive animations

  • AMAZING! The animation takes it to a whole other level. All the little looks, all the gesturers. When the twin rips his brace off! So freaking cool!

  • :'(((((((((

  • WOOOOWWW. amazeinggggg. lovee this. i felt soo sad for them. <3

  • wtff man. that kind of animation or whatever creeps the shit outta me... but good fucking job bro <3

  • wow!!! I didn't know what to think when I first started watching this, but by the end, I was blown away, & crying, haha. amazing job!! like others have said, for a film with no dialogue, just the eerie music & all the backround sounds, and the character's expressions, make for one of the most remarkable short films I've ever seen. I'm subscribing! =)

  • Ugh! Its so sad! I'm crying :/ but that was amazingly done! I love your work.

  • O_O

    Great great job...

*goes and hides in a corner now*

  • this was soo cute

  • I don't know how you thought this up, but it is mortifying. It's amazing, but I'm so creeped out and scared...

  • you can do so much with so little! :D

  • love it :D

  • NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE

  • What the actual fuck

    was that.

  • how sad...

  • I have this somewhere on dvd I think it's strangly beautiful

  • Did you by chance make this for tool? Because there is a video saying that this is the Official Music video for jambi by tool .. But i dont think it is.. It would be cool to know. Thanks .. Also Did you ever go by Morgasmo?

  • @XxExoNine No, this has nothing to do with Tool. Some youtube megalomaniac (i guess it was this Morgasmo clown) ripped my film from a DVD, put a Tool track over the top, removed the credits, then credited himself as the director. Not big, not clever.

  • @MrMorgansOrgans Ah .. I saw it a long time ago.. How old is this project? Yeah i guess he did.. Very cool videos btw i just watched the man in the lower left hand corner of the photograph .. Beautiful .. They are like there own little worlds

  • @XxExoNine This film was made in 2003. Glad you like, thanks.

  • @MrMorgansOrgans Although Morgasmo's account doesn't appear to be active on here anymore, I do remember that he did give credit to your film, and he didn't claim it as his own. In fact, if it wasn't for his promotions I would have never known of or bought the DVD years ago.

On that note, this is an excellent film and I'm happy to see you're still at it. Keep it up! :-)

  • Almost as creepy as it is amazing...Bravo!

  • Single handedly the best, and most touching, animation I have ever seen. My hats off to you good sir.

  • That was the most amazing thing I have ever seen.

You are an artistic genius. And I'm not just saying that because conjoined twins are a topic close to my heart either.

  • Comment removed

  • outstanding work

  • When I was young, before I got too twisted, I played piano for 10 years. At my final concert I played the song in your piece "the separation". I can't remember the title or composer. Help me?

  • Disturbing.... Yet awesome!

  • I am fucking bawling like a baby. Damn you Mr. Morgan. <3

  • I want a slice of your mind or at least your patience, this seems like it takes a good amount of time to do.

  • I'm in love with this short film

  • I uploaded a copy of this amazing film awhile back:

    watch?v=ybEjyGmVub8

I don't have ads on my videos, so it is OK if I keep it up?

I love the video work you've done.

  • You, my good sir are an amazing artist. Can I ask what medium(s) you used to create the characters?

  • Now we know why Steve Buschemi is so dark.

I didn't know he had a twin brother, good biography. Hope Buschem apreciated it the way we all did.

  • A truly breathtaking piece of work. The Seperation left me stunned. And when others say they cried, i take heart that i am not alone. I have considered this film from two interpretations. Baring in mind that twins have an empathic connection - both physical & emotional, (and conjoined twins more so as they have shared the same nervous system etc?) i entertain the notion what if the twin who fell and hit his head near the beginning actually died? A missing limb can still be felt after all

  • Okay, I'm not gonna lie. This video scared the shit out of me.

But your work and the emotion in this video was aweosme. I nearly cried when I watched it because it was so dang good. I love it, and keep up the good work!! :]

  • I cried.

  • This made me cry and smile at the same time. ; n;

    Wonderful work.

  • amazing.

  • there's no chase scene in this movie.

  • Demented...I love it.

  • When he turned on that machine I was literally tearing up and in shock at the same time beautiful

  • You sir,should get a reward

  • When the machine went off I literally shed a tear and then was brought to a state of unbelievable relief when, though disfigured, he was alive.

    Absolutely brilliant

  • When the twin fell and caused the machine to Start up my Jaw dropped and i was like..speechless. It made me sad. ]:

    Good work~

  • I saw this as a film clip for a song by tool, but watching the original is even more sad, this is one of the best videos I've ever seen. I hate it so much because it's so damn beautiful!! I love it none-the-less, I cry every time.

  • wow. i nearly cried watching this. its so horrible....but beautiful. amazing job.

  • I cried.... I'm so glad he didn't die without his brother though. I love this so much.

  • Not to be watched at night

  • ccan someone please xplai nwhat happend?

  • You're a genius, sir. And I love "The Cat with Hands".

  • 2 thoughts:

    1. I find it a little unrealistic and stretched beyond reality.

    2. That being said, you did a brilliant job, my friend. Very interesting concepts and storyline. I also enjoyed that type of stop motion (I'm assuming you did this using stop motion), which unfortunately people don't do very often anymore.

    Anyway, overall, very nice:)

  • Ow, wow... it's certainly a wonderful film. I nearly cried, though I must admit I also had several nightmares.

  • This was so beautiful and haunting. Very sad, I suppose it was creepy, but saying that just makes it seem like every other 'creepy' thing out there on youtube. This is different. Top tier.

  • This movie is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.

  • love it :)

  • wow. just, wow. this was amazing.

  • Disturbing shit, I love it :D

  • I've said it before, but this film is very good indeed. I'd really like to see a feature length film of this kind of thing. If only eigh? Still, a DVD collection or iTunes maybe? I could watch on my TV then.

    Just a thought.

  • I and my brother also have been separated and I know this feeling...This is similar to living without one half of heart. All real feelings were reflected in the film.

    I bow before Robert.

  • (The way I see it, In this form of making films are included very small details which create the atmosphere of these short films for what it is: special sounds are connected with a certain static action , slow motions, special heroes` appearence and ect...) In this case, the emphasis is even more contrast is not only for the external perception, but also on the inside.

  • As for me,"Separation" is one of the profound movies wich was made by this director, but there is the deepest meaning and understanding of the structure of human soul besides intersting and original form of making films.

  • @MrMorgansOrgans I understand you reason. As an artist during a time when no one understands that taking photos with their phone in the gallery without permission is against the law, I understand your concern and your right to remove the film.

I want to thank you for replying to my inquiry. Your work is wonderful and I would like to thank you for sharing it here as you have. Thank you for your creativity and your vision.

  • fantastic : D

  • That was truly disturbing..yet beautiful..

  • Whole new meaning to "separation anxiety."

  • And the choice of sound. Nrghh, what an atmosphere. The fifteen seconds are so eery with the crackles; the electric intensity of the sewing machines; that light, pervasive children's lullaby; that infant-esque moaning at 6:03, the only vocal stirrings from the characters (that moment of horror; and jesus, the imagery that plays up); the breathing; oh, man, for a film with no dialogue, the background speaks volume. Bravo, really. I can't compliment this enough!

  • @shakesqueere thankyou for doing my english coursework for me .... or at least giving me some very good ideas

  • In tears, man. This is brutal. I'd have to say it reminds me of Dr. Suess's "The Giving Tree"; there's that level of beauty and sacrifice, tragedy and off-colour humour, destruction and selfishness/selflessness. It's sad in the way life is sad; spent being used up and using other people. Oh shit, man, sorry for the tangeant. Just have to say: this is truly beautiful work, man. Flawless.

  • @shakesqueere Besides applause for the concept, damn, what technical prowess! Really amazing stop motion there; so smooth and detail-oriented! What a beautiful style! Apart from being blown away by the story, there were parts where I was so intrigued by the minute details and landscapes, I had to wonder, "How did he do this?". Every second is so gorgeous; every frame a feast for the eyes! (:

  • I really don't see how this hasn't gotten the attention it deserves. That was fantastic!

  • Is there any way I could get this on my ipod?

  • wonderful story it really brought tears to my eyes...

actually it is the saddest but most beautiful story i've ever seen. this was written and taped by a genius.

  • aaww, how sad....

  • so wonderful

  • its a sad history i love it

  • No importa cuantas veces lo vea, o cuanto tiempo pase, sigue provocando en mi la misma sensacion, y eso no lo logra cualquiera... demencial, es la única palabra que puedo decir al terminar de verlo, toda una obra demente y maestra...

  • It's a kinda sweet story

but it's presented in a really dark way

  • Deep.

  • I'm not gonna lie, I cried the first time I saw this. Superb work, man.

  • Wow!

My man "favorited" The Cat with Hands, and from there I found this.

Truly shocking. I loved it. Heartbreaking.

    Bravo!

  • Sheer genius. This is the first film from you that I saw.

    Astonishing

  • FREAKY! i don't understand x

  • If you really don't understand, I'm at a loss for words. This short film is heartbreaking and amazing. I was close to tears.

  • Conjoined twins get separated, One misses them being together, Attempts badly to stay close, Addiction goes out of control, Other Twin is scarred for life...Yet...They are together....Sometimes being together isn't worth the sacrifice...

  • @MrKennyWilliams

i have a very different interpretation of the film, but then again, doesnt everybody!

This is an awesome piece of work. Mind=blown.

  • so great..

  • amazing man amazing. firstsss
