I have seen Neko in concert multiple times in Chicago.....She is brilliant and totally unique. Noone has a voice like hers. She sounds even better live. This is probably one of my favorite tunes of hers. First discovered her on Austin City Limits. Could not believe some of the notes that she hits and holds. I love her.

i adore neko and this song just breaks my heart everytime i hear it. it resonates at so many levels. and to hear her sing it live brings me to tears. yeah, i'm the girl at the neko show bawling like a dork. :)

this song brought me to tears when i first heard it too! i can relate so much to it. it reminds me of when i was younger and was a shy kid who would just sit on the bus all alone looking out the window daydreaming about one day falling in love. then i grew up, finally did fall in love and had my heart broken over and over and over again...i finally gave up and denied fact that i really do need love. this song feels like the story of my life! i wish i had been the one to write it.
