I'm athletic and play a ton of sports. I used to think bowling was not a "real" sport, until I actually took it up and learned how incredibly hard the sport is (difficulty level is up there with golf). Anyone laughing at this needs to get real and go try to advance at the game. It's truly unfortunate the type of reputation the sport gets.

Not really a fail when the ball sticks on your hand. Anyone who has ever league bowled has had this happen. I used to end my slide right at the foul line & would fall if the ball stuck. I adjusted my approach to end my slide about 6 inches short of the line so I'd have room. Of course I had to adjust my line as well.

I sure as shit didn't get there by working hard in College and praying I get picked up in a draft so I can coast my way through the rest of my life. Anyone who says that has never bowled over 100 and has never bowled a league or tournament.

Another aspect of bowling people never take into account is that every center you bowl in is different. So you are constantly adjusting with your equipment and how your throw on the lanes.
