  • This isn't 2.0! This is 1.6.

  • Android sucks fact.

  • Omnia i910

  • nvm i jsut watched another vid that i hadnt seen b4 and the "gatekeeper" is fucking Ownage

  • pretty badass like the physical keyboard but i dont see that much of a difference from an iphone other then icandy :/

  • You people are stupid. This is 1.6, not 2.0.

  • 2.0 emulator that's part of the Android developer sdk. Not 1.6.

  • @envisagestudios actually, its got all of them......

  • how r u gonna call us stupid hen there is the word Tard in your youtube name

  • cause im badass u faggot

  • @Subtard hahaha and ur picture is a women?

  • Its girls skateboards retard.

  • I'm on T-Mobile. had verizon, helio and att. All disappointed me. T-Mobile has them all beat in the customer service department and I'm paying 20 less than any other of those carriers for my plan. Go figure.

  • I'm also using motos cliq btw. Hello moto ftw. Android is amazing.

  • You freakin talk to the phone and it dose what you say lol no but thats how things are lookin

  • It looks like version 0.0 of the IPhone OS. This is the best Google can do?

  • hmmm my top right of my screen says upload

  • This looks a lot like the MyTouch from Tmobile. Is it because they both have Google?

  • This is actually the Android 2.0 emulator from the Android Software Dev Kit for app developers. I used the emulator because Android 2.0 wasn't publicly released for phones yet.

  • Thank you.

  • SPEAK LOUDER!

  • lol. noted.

  • I drive an 18 wheeler and Verizon service has worked best for my job. Its simple if you kids cant afford the plan dont get a cell phone. As for the bashing Ive seen of the droid thats all it is is talk, I have the droid and it does everything I need it to and then some. As said you get the plan that fits you. If you cant afford the phone then dont get it no reason to bad mouth it.. Definately worth the money though

  • how much are apps and is internet free

  • you have wifi and most apps are free but the ones you have to pay are about the same as the iPhone's

  • who cares. youve got a phone or you dont. your plan is your plan. studies, campaigns, whatever. im over it. i have verizon on a family plan, i have for years now and despite the fact that sometimes my bill ends up expensive i have been extremely happy with it. you just have to get on the plan that is right for you, thats how you cut the costs correctly.

  • Yeah, here in the states people like to get all worked up over what carrier they have. Personally, I prefer Verizon Wireless simply because I prefer the coverage I get where I live. I have nothing against AT&T, T-Mobile, or Sprint. It's pretty amusing to see how people bash other carriers. I guess some people believe in brand loyalty.

  • Its odd, in England, there isn't really that much fighting over carriers, you either like one or the other... lol, but England is a much smaller country than the USA XD

  • haha...silly people fighting over the carriers....bottom line this phone is really sick...and it's true that ATT's data lags. I work selling all three carriers, and have used all 4. I actually have better service and internet speed on Sprint. their plans are amazing, and verizon is waaay overpriced and over rated...but props to moto for this phone

  • What he said about Verizon is true.

  • u

  • Ok Mitch...Verizon Wireless is the number 1 wireless carrier in its market here in the US an has THE NATION'S MOST RELIABLE 3G NETWORK!

ATT is a close 2nd to VZW but tif not for the number of new activations ATT brought on when the Iphone came out, had Iphone not been released, ATT would be where Sprints sitting. VZW is still #1 an we did it without the hype of the Iphone

Bottom line: Your phones only as good as your network. I'd prefer a working UGLY phone over a PRETTY paper weight anyday!

  • wow you're almost like a pamphlet.

heh, i like the bottom line.

    same with guns

your gun is only good as your scope.

  • I'm assuming by your use of "we did it" that you're affiliated with Verizon, and you can stop using that mindless pigeon advertising ploy. Independent studies have shown countless times that cell networks come down to fractions of a percentage of difference in the statistic they call reliability. And in other independent tests for 3G speed in major markets, both AT&T and Verizon get beat by Sprint regularly. Who is more trustworthy, Verizon's ad campaign or independent studies? Exactly.

  • nicely said

  • @chrisitneywenney83 RIGHT! AND THE ONLY GOOD SERVICE FROM AT&T IS IF YOU GET AN IPHONE! PEOPLE ACT LIKE VZW IS SOOO BAD BUT ACTUALLY IT'S NOT! THE DROID IS BETTER THAN ANY IPHONE 3GS. NOW EVERYONE IS GUNNA STICK THE IPHONE 4 UP THEIR ASS AND TALK ABOUT HOW FAB IT IS. BUT THE DROID INCREDIBLE HAS 3 MORE MEGAPIXELS THAN IT DOES! IT'S NOT ABOUT THE PHONE IT'S ABOUT THE NETWORK! SPRINT SUCKS TOO BECAUSE OF THEIR $200 ACTIVATION! WTF. T-MOBILE IS GOOD. BUT AT&T MHMM... APPLE FREAK-A-ZOIDS.

  • that's not the motorola droid, that's the android 2.0 emulator :P

    but it's nice

  • Yup, I commented on that a little further down. Android 2.0 looks pretty cool. This was part of an SDK we're using to develop some apps.

  • still iphone

  • I have this on my G1!!! =D

    (Android 2.0)

    =p

  • The Droid for verizon is the first phone to use Android 2.0, so no

  • It's the first one to have Android 2.0 preloaded, but other Android users have been getting their hands on Android 2.0 as well now that it's available.

  • Nooooooo.....

My G1 has it. So my phone (G1) is the first to have it. =)

    Didn't you see my video???

  • I wiil deffinatley be gettin this phone onn the 13th hopefully they wont be back orderd by then.

  • This is cool. I have Verizon so I might be able to get Android on our family plan.

  • As long as you are eligible to upgrade (or you buy it full retail), or you're adding a line, I'm sure you'll be able to get the device on your family plan. Only thing is it will most likely require a $30 smartphone plan.

  • do you think it will require the $30 data plan? I mean it has wifi capability, so if they required the $30 for mobile then they wouldn't need wifi with it, since it would always be connected. Just my thought, but I'm still not sure about it.

  • probably because its a smart phone.

  • yes it would even though it has wifi is not avaible everywhere.

  • yes it does. Any smart phone requires it. A smart phone is not "smart" without the power of internet EVERYWHERE.

The reason a lot of people stayed away from the iphone(like me), which you have to pay the $30 and it has wifi as well, is because of the ATT sucky network.

I have VZ with BB because the call quality is amazing. I would rather have a better call quality because of my business than using the iphone dropping calls which means dropping money for me.

  • i have at&t and i have lost service/ dropped calls on a daily basis. in fact, half the time i cannot even make a call because of no service. at&t is the worst!

  • amen! and they just HAVE to be the only ppl to have the iphone..

  • bs...

  • Does the droid have a mouse=? Hope it dont.

  • The mouse that you see is mine. This is part of the SDK that Android developers get. I'm running it on my Mac just so you guys can see what it looks like.

  • WOW!!! Are you kidding!?!?!?!?!
