Is this featurette on the Bluray or the DVD or what?

I had the special edition DVD with the directors cut from back in 2004, but I don't remember all of these extras.

@degree7 It's in the Collectors Edition of Alien DVD. The movie is the directors cut, but they have a second disk with all this footage.

@al91176 You bought the same version I did, and it was great! I always felt bad for Veronica Cartwright and being dowsed with gallons of blood during this scene. I made the comment on another of these uploaded segments that, unintentionally, it adds a bit of even more horrific sexual undertones as a sort of "blood bukkake." She was a trooper the whole film. Watch this scene and pause at their reactions when the little bugger runs away, Tom Skerritt looked like he shat his pants in genuine shock.

The cast of Alien all really got in2 their roles so well, u hav2 admit for a sci-fi it truly is great acting, they really helped make the Xeno "Alien" creature work so well. Yahphet Koto wen he gets attacked and hes trying to fight it off, just all that water dripping on him and his genuine, sheer terrified expression. Theres so many little things u can appreciate from Alien. And John hurt truly deserves an Oscar for his chest-bursting performance, how do u act out such genuine pain reaction!?

I always laugh at this scene,seeing how fake the baby alien looked with its metallic grillz and stiff inarticulate penile body.

Now that I think about it, this scene looks a lot better than any CGI crap that I've seen.

I'll second all these comments i think. Veronica's cute, funny and attractive. She always makes me smile and laugh in her interviews for this film. She simply exudes fun and good old fashioned earthy humour that instantly puts people at ease.
