What's with the writers continuing the farce/lie that medication can control the activity of alters in people with DID? Only in Hollywood. There IS no medication for DID - for depression and anxiety that can occur with it, yes, but having alters is a coping mechanism, not a chemical imbalance. There is plenty of fascinating material to be presented with DID - why bother to add misinformation into the mix? Is the show funded by some pharmaceutical company or something?!

I don't think the fourth one is an altar at all. I think it's just Tara and putting her in with the altars could be a way to show that the lines between the four of them are blurring.

I almost think her new alter will be a psychologist...mostly because of the shape shifter that they use to analyse patient's depending on what they see in the blob. She also has a lot of frames on the wall..which could be diplomas???? She kinds looks cool, calm and collected. Just a hunch :D

i hate Alice only showed up twice, bcuz she'sz my favorite, when she shows up, really interesting sht happens. I think Alice is a "bad guy" tho, i think she'sz trying to get rid of tara and the other alters and take the body bcuz of when she told marshall "if everything goes the way i'm hoping and they all go away, i'll be here all the time, wouldn't that be fun?"

Why wasn't Gimme in this promo?  I believe that Gimme is the secret that is buried deep inside of Tara's brain that is causing her to let the other alters come through.

Gimme was raw emotion that came out when her parents were there pushing her over the edge about her competence of being a real mom to her kids, she was trying to hold all the alters back. I thought season 2 aired in Jan 2010? like the 16th or something.. I could be wrong but i read that somewhere.

Gimme still qualifies as an alter. *Alice* knows Gimme by name and apparently keeps all the others in check, so it's safe to assume that Gimme is at least a partially formed personality. Gimme appeared when Alice, Buck and T weren't enough to deal with Tara's problems.

Also, it seems odd to me that they'd introduce Gimme in such a raw and powerful way, and then shove it back under the rug so quietly to make way for what looks like a fifth alter.
