  • coffman number 1 hands down...he has the best stats of any tight end in the history of the ncaa

  • sorry....Ed Dickson was easily top 5 if not top 3

  • when i was in high school ed dickson was the number one ranked in my area i was number 2, los Angeles, yea i know we have a shit load of mexicans to play against

  • Nice... Bengals have 2 of the top 5

  • u miss aaron hernandez

  • Jermaine Gresham!!!!

  • Travis beckum my cousin no lie swear 2 god

  • WISCONSIN baby BECKUM!!!!!!!

  • Kyle Rudolph

  • 1. Gresham

    2.Pettigrew

    3. Coffman

    4.Beckum

    5. guy from BYU (idk his name

    6. Ingram

  • @HtwnRcktsCO2 agreed.

Gresham should be at the top

  • the guy from BYU you might be trying to think of is Dennis Pitta. he's a stud. but Beckum is a monster. GO BADGERS!

  • ed dickson TE of the week!!! 11 cacths fore 148 yards and 3 TDs. voting by john mackey foundation (best TE award)

  • Kyle Rudolph!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Jermaine Gresham, Rob Gronkowski, and D.J. Williams are the top 3 TE's on nflsmackdowncom pre season rankings !

  • Travis Beckum was a deserving #1 the only reason why he didn't do well was because he was injured a lot. i should now he went to Wisconsin and i am a badger fan. HE WILL BE A STUD!!! I wish the Packers took him

  • Jermaine gresham should be number 1!

  • Chase Coffman was a good choice for the Bengals. Once he gets better at blocking he could be one of the best T.E's in the country.

  • You forgot Cody Slate from Marshall. For a while he was leading TEs as a Junior.

  • i think that pettegrew is the best and the bills are stupid for not getting him. yhey are also retarted for not gettin brian orakpo, he maxs out benchpressing at 515 and can do 31 reps of 220.

  • Bills needed a DE more than TE at 11 and Orakpo could be a huge bust. He takes plays off, played for Texas (Mike Williams, Derrick Dockery?) and as far as what he benches, look up Mike Mamula if you want to see how far that takes you.

  • derrick dockery is good!

  • I hadn't heard of him, but watching him catch in traffic vs THE OSU was impressive. He doesn't look that big (243#) but he also doesn't wimp out. Can he block? We shall find out.

I remain impressed with Jerry Reese's draft prowess.

  • Really? the song choice is terrible. The only tight ends I would be thinking about with this song on is like Erin Andrews or something.

  • Pettigrew is the most complete out of everyone. He can do it all and thats why he will be the first TE to be selected in the draft.

  • Dont be hatin on trvis beckum he my cuzin and he will mess u up

  • im sorry but there is absolutely no way that gresham is not the best te in the country, hes fast enough to be a WR and big enough to be an OL he's an an absolute beast no question

  • I would have coffman over gresham and any other tight end because coffman can catch about anything thrown to him. Jermaine would be my second though due to how big and fast he is

  • i was gonna say hes way to skinny to be a tight end

  • no probs

  • dude*

  • dud, srry to break it to you but the picture you have for rory nicol is a picture of brian heartline

  • yeah i realized that after i put it up, dumb mistake.

  • Lets see who gets drafted first. You cant possibly believe every NFL team and NFL analyst are more stupid than you when it comes to seeing talent.

  • casey of rice is number 2 and rob gronkowski of arizona is the best of all

  • Chase Coffman is a good TE, stands 6'6", I believe.

  • Beckum was unstopable last year. After the injury this year, he just want the same. I hope that doesnt stop teams from drafting him though, cuz when he's not hurt, he's amazing.

  • i had brandon and chase tied

  • You missed one important and ridiculous tight end man... James Casey from Rice. He was one of the best football players this season period

  • exactly. THIS SEASON. look at the date it was posted

  • James Casey is under-rated. He's a str8-out FB player.

  • didnt vravis beckum get hurt...didnt garrett graham play for him...didnt he have a great season

  • GO SOONERS next year

  • it's c.i. and gresham..tht's the way it will go in the draft..

  • beckum is beast

    OAK CREEK WI

    GO BADGERS

  • He would be the best if he didnt break a bone...sad, sad moment...

  • i wuld have to move Gresham up 1 or 2 after wat he did to help OU's very explosive offense.

  • omg if your a gator hater then why are you posting gators in like the top 10 every time and ingram should be ranked higher one because he has more TD then everybody else.

  • No, everyone doesnt "know it." Chase Coffman is at the top of the list, hands down. Chase Daniel isnt a great QB, he's lost 2 games for us this year all by himself (KU, OSU). Gresham has gotta be number 2 though, he's faster and stronger than Coffman but he drops passes, and he cant make the kind of amazing catches Coffman comes down with repeatedly inthe end zone.

  • I agree. Jermaine Gresham needs to improve his catching ability, once he's done that however, he's easily the best in College Football. He's a monster.

  • Last time i checked brain hartline was not Rory Nichol

    GO BUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • yea he got it right travis beckum is the best TE in college football right now, he doesnt have as good as numbers as Chase Coffman does but thats because he doesnt ahve a QB to pass him the ball and Coffman has Chase Daniel throwing it to him which is a gr8 QB, but Beckum still puts up gr8 numbers and its clear he has the best talent

  • fuck! i cant believe i didnt c that

  • where is darius hill?

  • this video is biased. Chase Coffman is the best TE in college. Hands down

  • OU fan.

    Texas for me.

  • yeah. chase should be num. 1, pettigrew 2, gresham 3.

  • tripp chandler might top 10 worst tight end in the nation...

  • Chase at #2? Normally i guess someone should complain about being second best in the country, especially at a position, but the level he plays at is leaps and bounds ahead of everyone, and with the cornerbacks in the NCAA, he makes them look like high schoolers who are lost on the field. When he's not running over people he's jumping over them. He is one of the best i've seen at knowing how to elude tacklers. At 6-6, 245, with speed like that and such a ridiculous jumping ability he can play

  • Travis Beckum isnt even the best tight end on Wisconsin.

I am shocked you dont have Garrett Graham on this list. Garrett is one of the top 3 best ALL AROUND TE's in Div 1 THIS YEAR. There is no debate!

  • chase coffman jumped over a six three guy last week agianst colorado. he owns that state.

  • harsh much? oh yeah how does this sound: Chalmers for the tie.. GOT IT WITH 2 SECONDS. UNBELIEVABLE!

  • Brandon Myers should be in like the top 25 he's so underrated GO HAWKEYES!!!

  • Thats not even rory thats Hartline

  • Coffman is the best, always makes big catches, good route runner, and has amazing athletic ability. Should be at least a 2nd rounder next year

  • i agree he stiff armed 5 guys before he was knocked out of bounds in the nevada game

  • Brandon Pettigrew, TE, Oklahoma State: He's the most complete and dominant NFL prospect at his position in more than a decade. Pettigrew graded higher than any tight end in this year's draft.

    -Sports Illustrated

  • 10. Shawn Nelson soutern miss

    9. Cody Slate marshall

    8. Cornelius Ingram florida

    7. Dennis Pitta byu

    6. Rob Gronkowski arizona

    5. Jermaine Gresham oklahmome

    4. James Casey rice

    3. Travis Beckum wisconsin

    2. Chase Coffman missouri

    1. Darius Hill ball state

  • lebron james is college football eligible which makes him the best tight end.

BTW- tom brady has the best tight end(wink, wink)

  • good choice having ed dickson up there.

    GO DUCKS!!!

  • yea oregon ducks and that guy was a shopmore last year.. 2 more years

  • ya beckum

  • travis bekum sucks balls and there yours

  • carson butler should have made this list. shawn nelson should be replaced. this list is made up of recieving TE. carson butler is the full package. he will knock down DE's but is faster than most LB's. and his hands are equivalent to an abover average wide out.

  • Darius Hill anyone? I think that pettigrew guy will be takin first in the draft

  • first first? or first TE?

  • I from oklahoma state and i am probably being bias but Pettigrew is a stud...i agreed where he was on list except for i believe he best in big 12...not that missou guy....and honestly even though i hate the sooners...gresham should be in front of him too.

  • Have you ever seen Chase Coffman play!?! He is far better than Pettigrew and Gresham. I would even say that he is better than the best tight end from last year, Martin Rucker.

  • heck yeah and Martin Rucker was one of the best tight ends in history and he wouldve been on all these lists if he hadnt been a senior last year

  • Martin Rucker was a great tight end but Chase Coffman is much better. There is nothing that He can do

  • you haven't even seen coffman play most likely..just wait until he jumps over half the cowboys on one play.

  • Chase Coffman is arguably the best TE in NCAA. Pettigrew is good but i havent seen pettigrew hurdle anyone yet. give me a ring when that happens.

  • Most important stat for tight ends: Hurdles. I'm a Mizzou fan and agree Coffman's the best, but thats a stupid argument dude.

  • All I was saying was that Coffman gets his 245 pound body off the ground and jumps over dudes. I'm not saying that whys hes the best. He always seems to make the big catch in the pressure situations. (he also makes some pretty sick catches in the back of the end zone. those are my favorite.)

  • Well, at 6-6 265 pounds, he doesn't have to jump over anybody, he runs right through them. Although, that was a nice juke he made on the game winning play against Tech last year. I do agree with you that Coffman is really good. I think both guys are the perfect fit for their systems. Pettigrew is a better blocker, but not quite as good of a receiver as Coffman. However, OSU is a run-first team and Missouri is a pass-first team. If they swapped teams, I don't think they'd be nearly as successful.

  • chase coffman 3rd round petti 1st round sorry athletes get drafted first

  • TRAVIS BECKUM! break out year in 08!

  • nvm i just remembered sorry..bad ass vid jermaine all the way!

  • i forgot this song what is it

  • Chase coffman is the truth!!! Mizzou's offense is the truth!!! PERIOD!!!

  • ed dickson is a glorified receiver. but hes probably the fastest of all the tight ends this year and should be a little higher on the list.

  • I second that motion. ;)

  • arizona has a stud at TE
