  • One Jegna missing here- General Temesgen Gemechu......... RIP

  • General Temesgen Gemechu was one of our legend outstanding General fought Heroicaly so many Battle Field. The former 102 Airborne regiment Soldiers members can tell us, How he was killed himself on the Battle Field of MAYMIDO. Please, the former 102 Regiment members, Who are alive, tell us the truth about MAYMIDO forntline; That we heard have the mistaken of the 2nd Abyotawi commanders leading the operation of MAYMIDO. General Temesgen was spoken something for his soldiers.

  • @Ethiofirst201162 Thanks, i knew Gen Temsgen when he attended night class @ prince makonen high and lived in Dire Dawa, Greek Camp. I have seen a document after he died which was prepared at that time by his friends. I was not sure if it really bared any truth. Hopefully someone will come up front. Peace to Mother Ethiopia.

  • @Melikuba, I heard about his biograph and Heroical backgrounds, I do not knew him frankly. The only I read about him and I am too young, When he was died 24 Years old.

  • @Ethiofirst201162 Where do you knew GTG ? Very nice of you. I was close to his son in blood.

  • I think I may have been a little unthoughtful about my earlier comments as it looked like my opinion was directed at those humble and graceful Generals and I apologise to them and those who recognized them as heroes. Obviously I never heard of them before and I didnt really hear the words on the video. But I still stand by my opinion towards the real cowards starting from Mengistu. I wonder how they feel now.

  • talayou, dont blame all of them,be specific.not all of them were like that.,u need to do your homework.

  • wow,wow...calm down there friends. like i said, i did not mean to disrespect anybody. sure these men were "heroes" in their time and like you said i don't know much about them thats true but still where are they now? and how did they get there. to me every general and former leaders are responsible for our loss and thats my opinion. also ask yourselves about the attempted coup de tat and why it failed.

  • Remembering those who died for their country is great but rewarding those who deserted and left the real heroes like my father behind is something i can not comprehend. I am sorry but to me its a joke. I dont know how these men are heroes. What about Mengistu? whats the difference between him and them....Deserters shame on you. You let us down.

  • they were true heros brother.they were awarded first class medal for thier extraordiary service to thier country.dont put all of them in one box.both of them wrote a great autobiography.u shold read it

  • first class medal???by whom and for what?probably from mengistu or haileselase yeah? shouldn't a medal be given to those who win in war?what did they really achieve?all they did was they stole from the poor, they raped and killed whoever they wanted and so on. the law did not apply to them. we all remember what they looked like and how they lived. I am not being negative here and no disrespect to anybody but its an issue to consider for anyone who cares.

  • talayou, now u crossed the line.stop posting your garbage comment on my page.chicken.u are not welcome anymore

  • talayou, before you put all of them in one box .try to get the facts stright.u dont know shit about them u are just opening your big mouth .

  • talayou ,they have done what the best they can.i tell u what i dont let anybody to insult them on my page.u are chicken.wend yewalebet bota alewalkem.low life

  • telayou

how stupid to put the name HaileSelassie with the like of mengestu or meles.

you must be uneducated cleaner or woyannes who do not know the difference between adding and multiplying.

Most of the woyannes here are send money to open business, when we talk to them as friend (to sass them) the way they think is exactly like yours. EMPTY & HATEFUL.

  • Waffik, I have to admit you are absolutly right except that I am fairly educated not to be a cleaner anymore. I just woke up after I recently read this amazing book by Zewde Reta about his majesty. I had no idea about him except what i grew up hearing in derg time. I finally realized your comment "empty and hateful" is appropriate. Yet I made another mistake and I will take it back with embarrasment. I will read and listen before I comment next time.

  • @talayou

it is only great people who admit and improve. I am sorry to be harsh, but when it come to the emperor Haile Selassie i am prepare to fight everyone including my children and family. He was a great NATIONALIST who stood for the unity of NEGROS......

  • talayou,i am sick and tired of those who give their silly judgment without puting themselves in sombody's shoes.u have no idea what they have gone through.you just open your big mouth without know all the facts .u hypcrite.

  • talayou,no matter what you and your low class friends say.thier histroy will shine forever.that was the message we were trying to pass.they are not forgotten.they are honered.why u get mad.u will cry for the rest of your misearable life

  • ato talayou,u call them deserters bla bla.where ,when, how??????be specific.dont try to trash those honrable and great ethiopians.keep your hate for yourself .
