Sodastream canister exchanges to a store are 16.00 after tax. Another canister is 30-35.00 This adapter is clearly the way to go....I like heavy carbonation so these small things just don't last long enough to make things worthwhile.... Thanks for the video and source of this kit!!!

It doesn't get much cheaper than that, especially when Sodastream will charge you about $300.00

for the same amount. It also makes a green product even greener by reducing ground transportation,

and by using local suppliers.

There's another handy dandy tool for making your drinks. Not only can you avoid their hi-priced co2 canisters - you can avoid the $250 Penguin cost altogether. If you don't already own a SodaStream, count yourself lucky. If you do, then this guy's solution is the best I've seen out there. I don't know the price of his conversion kit, but I'm about to go look.
