He's right. Think about it. Sean Penn wore a fake nose and played a gay guy. He was bound to win. Dont get me wrong, im not homophobic, but the panel of people that decide the oscars do like those kind of roles. Not to mention that they weren't going to risk Mickey Rourke swearing on stage whilst its being aired live over America are they? I've seen both films and Rourke is certianly the better actor.

haha i wouldnt call the wrestler a masterpiece lol.. but mickey rourke was stunning and will probably win the academy award for best actor... as far as best picture slumdog will probably win but i honestly think benjamin button should, technically flawless movie!
i think the most emotional part of his speech was when he thanked his dogs, present and past. At first it sounded like he was just being dumb and rambling but when he said the thing about when a man is down in life sometimes that's all you got, I got choked up
