@LordXenu925 no it didn't, in-fact that's still the main point of all this. The First Civilization or the Ones Who Came Before lost their world and everything became corrupt. Few parts of life survived, then once all that had stopped, a new birth of life had begun, a new world. Eventually people became corrupt again (like our real world) and the Templars want all the world's power for themselves, the Assassin's must stop this. Basically the Templars are looking for the same thing that Desmond is

I loved playing this game up until it did the numerous 'protect your base' rubbish. That part totally ruined it for me and detracted from the story line. I'm an adventurer, a free spirit leaping around roof tops and enjoying murdering people...for a good cause. Plus the control parts in those bits were clunky at best.

@RumbleGuts2112 As long as you keep your noteriety down you wont ever have to do the defense mini-game. And with the cities just send your low level assassins to keep your control at least at 40% and you can leap and kill all you like with no disturbances.

the only thing AC revelations doesn't show (or maybe i am not that observant) was why lucy died. At the end of AC Brotherhood desmond kills lucy involuntarily because of the "older race" but they never explain why in this game. maybe in AC III. i love u guys, mediacows u are the best!

Good news everyone! AC 3 was announced yesterday for a release date of October 30th this year, they have said it is going to be the biggest AC launch to date, because they've been working on it since they released AC 2, and of course the other teams were work on Brotherhood and Revelations, new setting and new protagonist! Oh and also for people who say that they're milking the AC franchise, they're not, they're fitting everything in this year for the 2012 plot that's been running in each game.

@Raxen95 you can either find the revelations Marketplace by going to the xbox live marketplace then on the assassins creed revelations game and scrolling right until u get to the marketplace or u can go on the revelations game and press X on ur xbox controller or square on ur ps3 controller in the main menu of the game after u press start........
