Thank you, I'm in a band yet, but we've just have founded the bassist after some months of research. I hope that now we can do something interesting ;)
i love this song you play very well,i would like to loarn how to play this solo if you can please help me, if you can make other video but every ting slowly i will by happy.sorry for inglesh i speak portuguese
I am looking for an Engl Powerball too, do you like the sound of the powerball in comparison to for example a mesa boogie dual rectifier? Thanks in advance
whats that neck pick up like, does it contain humbucker qualities and can it cope with metallica, malmsteen and guns and roses style neck pick up sounds ?...also is this a neck thru model ?....thanks if you get back to me.
what do you think about this guitar? i want to buy a ibanez rg 2550 or a jackson sl3? wich one is better in your opinion? P.S great playing man! Vai For Ever
I like this guitar, great construction and fingerboard, the neck is bigger than ibanez. Long sustain and powerful distorsion sound. Clean sounds are a little "muddy" so i've splitted pickups in 2-4 position. The bridge works well.
great!!! very very nice!!!!I can't believe that powerball actually gave you that vai sound..you played it perfectly..and I know how hard it is to play 6 minutes accurately and record yourself..5 dtars no doubt!!keep on rockin dude'! thelycandraven
really nice cover here buddy i have a pod xt live and the powerball but i cant get reverb and delay out of it like you do without messing up the tone out of the amp, how do you do it??
For the setup of the Powerball i use channel 4, with bass boost and focused switches on, with about low at 6/10, mid 9/10, high 7/10. Presence 2-3/10 (depend on the power amp volume) and depth at 5/10. For effects i set the mix on the Pod to 100%: from the pod i get only the effected sound (chorus+delay+reverb) and than i mix dry with wet sound by the knob on the rear of the Powerball (about 2/10). I hope this infos will be helpful to you!
Yes i like it, the neck is fast, the bridge is a jackson licensed Floyd Rose, it works well but i will replace it with an original FR in future! I have splitted bridge and neck pickup in 2 and 4 position to get a nice clean sound..
@izitt I have one :)

how do you get the steve vai sound i know the whole song but cant get the sound, i subscribed
100dominater 2 years ago
Try with a bit of chorus and delay, for the first theme use the neck pickup with closed tone's pot. Work also on the eq.

Sorry I've deleted for mistake a comment from L4toid:
Q:On a scale from 1-10 how hard was this song for you to learn?
************************
A: I've studied it for about 2-3 months. It wasn't too difficult to me except for the sweep section, so I say 6/7.
