I don't know that he killed Kopetsky, but despite passing a polygraph, her ex-boyfriend strikes me as a seriously bad guy who he has a habit of beating up his girlfriends and, according to one, bragged about killing a previous girlfriend. Google recent article: "Kara Kopetsky's ex-boyfriend, Kylr Yust, arrested in company of attack victim from restraining order" Plus he has a seriously ugly neck tattoo.
I live about 30 minutes away from this whole scene and it is frightening, but I just hope Kara's family and friends will have closure one day and know what happened to her.
as a parent you don't encourage a teenager to do something you know is not right, I've heard Kara's mother using excuses again and again over Kara's smoking habit & skipping classes etc. It's like she's approved with that kind of behavior. When a parent makes it a big deal over skipping classes (or anything a kid shouldn't do) since they were little, mostly likely kids would turn out & understand parents are SERIOUS over these issues.
@1225pong I agree. I watched many of these programs and came to realize that we as parents really have to monitor our kids and set clear boundary with teens. Setting boundaries might crate some confrontation in the begging but in the end, it shows our real love to children.
how could a man kill a beauty like kelsy. i hate him can u hang him publically. i have never liked english skin however beauty is universal like kelsy. prays for her being in heaven.
@JadeFroggy i didnt mean what i said to be a criticism of Kara's mother or her parenting skills, when dealing with a teenage daughter im sure you have to be somewhat flexible & pick your battles.

i too,like the cop, can't understand how that boy is not related to Karas dissapearance... Kelsey was taken in a public shopping car park. i don't believe this guy hadn't done it before to be so confident to take a girl in a car park...she was raped and sodimised unfortunately, so maybe he was getting more perverted with his crimes..I think it's all too close together- time wise, girls similar ages and appearances, and distance wise. I really hope they find closure for the parents....xo

The parents say for instance who are on drugs may have filed the info that there child was not home behind all the address' he or she bought their drugs from, so probably would either never tell the police, or leave it several days before saying anything? Just a thought.

I go to their house, or have done in the past and they have zero in the kitchen cupboards. I always have soup and beans and keep frozen bread, in case I forget to go to the shops and know I have a meal 'in the cupboard' anyway.
