Troy, I see you're in Canada. That means we are both living under Government controlled medicine. Can you honestly say that you are happy with it? I mean seriously, forget your ideology. Forget what the Government wants you to say.
Have you ever been really sick or known someone who has? Maybe our systems can help with a painkiller, but once you are sick then they treat you like dirt and we die waiting in the queue with inferior treatment.

I'm in England and you don't want what we have. We have to change doctor every time we move house, and we wait for 1 week just to book an appointment for a minor ailment such as a cold. If you need to go to a hospital then that takes several months!
