I mean firstly you said they took FnP from berzerkers? Do you mean from Khornate IC's? because FnP was never a option for basic Khoranate marines, and the big loss was Chain axes. Hell you also made a obvious mistake when talking about DP's as they have eternal warrior and as such can never be instant killed with the exception of GK's. On the plus side I agree that 75% of all the CSM HQ's are a waste.

I don't mean to be a ass, but I was really hoping for insights into the codex deep enough to sway anyone that has played the codex for more then 2 years. However I doubt that is going to happen do to you seemingly not understanding this codex or the last.

Don't forget A Daemon prince is a MC you he ignores armor save and gets a extra dice for penetration. He also has kick ass strengt and ws.

It can but only if it says D6 or 2D6 attacks not 6 or 12 attacks.

correct me if i'm wrong, but i thought you only get to chose one save (cover, armor, or invulnerable) with the new rules. im not that familiar with the rules so please, someone respond

yes you can only chose to have one, but some weapons remove your armor save so its always good to have either an invulnerable or cover save.

Ive played in 4 tournaments in the past 2 weeks. Abaddon by himself has in EVERY round of EVERY tournament killed at least twice his points cost. So, what you mean by not worth it; you must mean that you dont like to win.

It's just his opinion. The coolest thing about 40k is finding different combinations that work for you. Abaddon didn't work for him, so he disadvizes his use.

I recently bought Abaddon, and I must say hes well worth his point value for me. I completely destroyed 3/4ths of my friends tau army with him. Another of my friends Eldar army was completely obliterated by basically Abbadon alone. In my opinion Kharn and Abaddon are the best characters for chaos even if Kharn sometimes attacks your own guys.

Yeah, I dislike friendly fire so I try to avoid the temption to purchase him into my CSM army. On my bad days with the dice, he's likely to destroy my enitre army o.O

ok, asif 275 points is not worth potentially 10 attacks at strength 8 init 6, so hes going first in combat nearly every time. and re rolls to wound and wounds on 2s. please tell me where hes not worth the points

anyways, good to see a fellow chaos war-mate puttin a review.

a lot of people hated the new codex, and i say its made chaos so much stronger and easier to work with, i thank the gods for the new codex.

i hated in the previous ed. it took me like an hour just to figure the wargear for ONE CHAMPION! lmao

Im not 'the' face I am one of the faces, my team makes up a larger percent of wargamepainting then I do ;)

but yes I like the new codex more then the old one, I am sad to see some things go though.

hahah i know but you're the face for youtube because youre the one that does the videos, we're used to hearing your voice. but i do give my reguards to the team, i know they're back there doing hard work ofr us customers.

yeah though i agree the new codex got rid of tons of stuff, and i do miss it, like berzerkers & feel no pain.

but overall i think it made chaos appeal to more players with its simplicity.

IMO Abaddon is so hard to get rid of and can kill so much he should almost cost more,my friend plays him all the time and he has never died in a game.Typhus is still a baddass(poisoned Daemon force weapon)I run him in my Death Guard army and have had him wipe out multiple units and suffer little damage in return.A Daemon Prince is even harder to kill now than before due to Eternal Warrior,before one rail gun shot would kill him. Tzeentch DW still gives you D6 attacks in CC plus the shooting.

I never had a DP die to a rail gun before XD, and yes the tzeentch DW gives the d6, but still I dont through Chaos Lord in with shooty, personally, thanks for the opinion though.

I run a Lord with a DW on a Disk in my Thousand Sons army and he can wipe out a unit of Marines in one turn of shooting and CC,if he even needs the CC.If he gets to a Devastator squad it's well worth having.But maybe I've just been lucky with him.
