Well I like Remakes I like that there diffreint I belive That Remakes should have similer elements but with a diffrent story. This movie and Halloween proved it. Hey some remakes a good and some are bad. I don't really complain about them, but I do feel sympathy for when a film I loved is remade. And the info of it is shoved in out faces by todays advertisement. TV, Computers, Posters, Billboards, Newpapers.

At these film I like to forget them, but if were being constinctly reminded of them. I can see why people will complain about them.

Jason has a deep story that should be told. Otherwise, you may as well sit down and watch all the old ones back to back, starting with the first and so on. People who are jason fans want to be a little informed about jason. Im rambling. Anyway, I loved it. Buy it, rent it, DL it on your Ipod. Comes on DVD and Blue-Ray on 6/16. Its well worth it.

The trends have changed the scheme between originals and remakes, old school and new age. This critic acts like directors are watching this and actually give a shit about the little things that he see's wrong with it. They are too busy getting rich. This video seems to be implying that everyone is a F13 junkie who lives and dies by changes in the scheme between originals and remakes. They are just going to enjoy a scary movie. It was a scary, suspenseful movie! Homage is good. If there wasn't any, the "Movie Preview Critic" would say that this new F13 movie doesn't pay any homage to the original. There for its trash. Hollywood has changed since the 80's so a lot of the same is not to be expected.

I agree with a lot of what you're saying but having seen this movie now, I just feel I must say that the previews gave away a lot less than you'd think, also this is technically a reboot and it's supposed to take aspects from the early movies, further more a lot of the dialogue was funny, and many of the deaths were quite original and not mentioned in the preview.

Terrible remake. When the h***did Jason ever kidnap someone! Can't you see him at the local 7-11 buying his wanna be mommy a ham and cheese sandwhich and a big gulp. He had her for a few months! True Jason would have stuck that machete in her gut , cut off her head and kept just that. They turned Jason into a baby sitter. Utter garbage.

I liek these but dude, this one is bothering me, I mean, while watching the trailer even before I had seen the new one, I knew that the deaths they showed weren't the actaul ones, or the EXACT way the people died.

Too true. Actually some scenes from the remake look competent and indeed scary. The scene of the girl siting Jason on the bank, her POV rocking with the tide gave me hope, as well as the shot with Jason looming on the rooftop, but as Flight Plan and The Di Vinci Code proved a good director can't quite edge out a bad script.

I want to see Nispel direct American Mcgee's Alice. Now THAT would be a fine mind f*** feature for him to prove himself with.
