  • i hate when people say things like "i suck" just to hear other ppl say they dont

  • I thought it looked pretty good haha I just started practicing nunchucku yesterday, they're a pair of match foam ones that my sensei gave me for practice, haha I really enjoyed the hopping over the nunchucku lol.

  • can u make a tutorial for the enter the dragon part

  • in memory of..

    Tomahawk Brand nunchaku..(??)

Looks similar to what I practice with, the only set i got similar (weight/dimension) pair of.

Got some other (crappy" aluminium chucks and the first ones I bought about 10yrs ago, my "elbow breakers" - "original okinawan rosewood octagon" -chucks.

Damn I'd like to get another JUST similar pair of those... heavy, very hard wood, no ball bearings etc. Simple and durable. I like them better then the ballbearing ones, but only got one.. :/

  • Chinese tell you

    continue practise

  • Next time, you should use glowchucks

  • Yay! the opening music from Enter the Dragon!

  • you look good just look at the cam.....very good skill. Master cooper

  • LOL NICE knee slapper LOl i cant stop laughing awsome move great video

  • I saw ur Quick tutorial and that maked start messing around with Nunchuks :D

  • Nunchaku #2 doesn't look dead, let's just say "handicapped" :D

    Couldn't you fix him?

(PS: Great video even if you're too mean with yourself, as always)

  • Haha i did fix him! the tutorial videos might contain the Nunchaku number 2. Fun fact, I retired nunchaku number 1 because it's broken, if i swing it too hard the whole thing flies apart haha. thanks for watching

  • You don't see many traditional style nunchaku with cord anymore.

Just as well, chains look cooler anyway.

  • Yea, I haven't tried the traditional ones, but I'm sure they feel a lot smoother.

  • how long have you been doing this

  • Ummm...i think a couple months when this video was made.

  • u shouldnt have show the end thats just to sad!!!!

    incase anyone heres retarded kidding

  • the only thing i dun like is the between the legs move not to practical and yeah thats all i see ppl do that and it stops the flow but other wise goood cool post

  • tell you the truth, i don't like the leg move either. It's that, or the testicles.....i think i made the better choice =P

  • Davvero bravissimo complimenti!!!

  • NICE MOVES :]. man don't worry you are pretty good . And ya, what is up with those cheap nunchaku :]. 'cause mine broke too lol :]. but ya good music and good moves man. Keep it up :]

  • nice me 14 years whith nunchku love them !!..

  • whats better the stick or nunchaku?=)

nice maan im training nunchaku 2 but yar better than me=)

    GOOD LUCK M8!!!

  • rofl at end haha

  • watch it good fighter 1 2 3

  • hey hey hey not bad kid very sharp!

  • Thanks man.

I watched many of your earlier tutorial videos when I started practicing. So I'll have to say, thanks for the lessons.

  • He is good for at Nunchaku but he sucks at jokes.

  • Ba dum ksh

  • Your nunchaku will be in my prayers, lol. But really, how old are you? It seems that as time goes on, younger and younger people are getting into weapons.

  • Now, I'm well into the Mid 18s lol. When the video was made I was 17.

  • Hell, I am 15 and own quite a few katana. Is nunchaku something to get into maybe?

  • Owning katanas is quite different from training with bokens/katanas. But, nunchaku takes some time to get the hang of. If you wanna just own it, by all means get some online. But if ya wanna use em, it'll take some time.

  • Indeed. Katana is much different, though I feel better grasping my katana rather than nunckaku, just because I am used to the sword.

  • OH MY GOD THAT WAS THE FUNNIEST!

'IN LOVING MEMORY OF NUNCHAKU #2'

    'we will dearly miss you...'

oh god that was the greatest! and elton john at the end too! keep making those vids PLEASE! hahaha lmao! etc. good stuff!

  • I do that alot when i use nunchakus. I look at the ground most of time. don't know why, but anyways that was really cool. soon, i'll have a video of me using nunchakus.

  • Hey that's a pretty cool vid, your humour made it worth watching xD Nice Nunchaku by the way, i'm also talking a hobbie for Nunchaku, self-training too :)

  • dude your brave to be swingin dem chuks down by your junk

  • "There will be a time every Martial-Artist's life, where your Sensei will grant you nunchaku training. Then that very Sensei will ask you to swing that very nunchaku at your junk. He'll ask you to trust him...and he'll tell you to be brave. But don't do it, swinging any hard piece of object in the general vicinity of your junk is not brave...It's stupid."

    -The More You Know.

(This has been a NBC Public Service Announcement)

  • funny you say that cause i was gonna ask if you wore a cup or was it just precise accuracy?

  • It actually is accuracy lol, what you do is aim for the thigh. It gives it the bounce you need to transfer momentum from down swing to up.

  • I agree, lol

  • WHAT THE FCKING NOOB......joke you fcking rule man how u do that im WTF nice job ^^

  • Wow! :|

    That's pretty fast.

  • Thanks I sped the video up by pushing on the "Record" button extra hard.

  • nice video to nice moves

i train @ home to in my backyard try to practice alot to became good

i broke my nunchaks to yesterday check out my video ^^

    greetz

  • Yo man, this video is too sick, I'm practicing with a training one, too light though, but see I find my heavier one way better with control. I got those tricks you showed on those great tutorials down pretty good. Just wanna ask you if speed increases after alot of practice or it matters on the chuks.

    Thanx and Peace Bruce.

  • nice vid!

  • Tanks Mister!

  • my favorite trick was when u turned different colors all over ur body while nunchuking lol

  • I like to call that move the "ACID TRIP"

  • Congratulations - this video has just entered the all time most watched freestyle nunchaku video chart top twenty in.... 10th position!

  • Coool, didn't expect that to happen. Thanks for the heads-up.

  • Damn ur crazy good, why do you say ur not good, ur fuckin awesome.

    Peace Bruce.

  • Few months?!?! You train 8 hours day or something?

  • Love the nunchaku skills. Keep up the great work :)

  • Self trained!!! WTF?!!! Your amazing!!!!!!!!!!!

I think im going to buy a pair on the weekend guna try this shaiznit!

  • hey, jews4life89, ur fukin stupid he, u really think a fukin cops going to check these things, and, try to trace me if u have a chance in ur fukin shitty life

  • VERY GOOD JOB!!

    You're a god! (like me :p)

What is the technic when you say "i learned it this day"? (ps: sorry for my language, i'm french).

PS: The song is "kung fu fighting"

  • That "I learned it this day" technique was a useless little diddy. Do that in a fight with ninjas and you'll beable to lick your own ass =P I sorta justed played around with spinning the chucks like a wheel. I could get a few revolutions on it before having it whack me on the collar-bone.

  • in Estonia nunchucs are legal.. :D I like these things u know.. wery deadly if you want.. :) good vid.

  • not bad... practice practice practice practice practice practice practice practice practice practice practice practice practice practice practice practice practice practice practice practice practice practice practice practice practice practice practice practice practice practice practice practice practice practice

    \m/ peace!

  • this jew guy is a joke, he's no cop. Cops can barely handle the streets, you think their gonna come after some people just training, lol. It's a felony if used wrongly. I mean I've done kung fu for 11 years, I'm not gonna take a nunchaku on the street and start kicking ass. You would have to be retarded to do that.

  • Haha 99.9% that guy is just fucking around...I'm just gonna roll with it.

  • haha, good video with funny comments!

    Very entertaining, thumbs up! :-)

  • Why thank you

  • haha it's funny in the end

  • whered u buy it?

  • also...how intensely do u train ie. how many times a week and how many housrs?

  • I bought it at this peice of shit site which I'm not gonna disclose cause I don't want them to get any more business. I "trained" a for about 6 months at the time the video was made. However, I spun those things everywhere which drove my mom crazy when I'm in the house.

  • u is awesome, i only been doing mind for few months

  • this is pretty much amazing. how long have you been at this?

  • At the point this video was made, maybe 5-6 months.

  • cool man watch my vidéo

  • Im on the same fucking situation...

    I SUCK WITH 2

  • Try 3

  • how old r u and which country r u living in now?

  • Am i gonna get shot? What's it to ya lol.

  • no i just wanna no if nunchuks r legal where u live

  • *ahem* no comment heh

  • im just going to warn you that im a cop and i will trace ur ip adress so i suggest u get ridd of those things

  • Oh don't worry about me hurting anyone with these "illegal weapons" I have a legal 9mm pistol for that. =P

  • you need to get a life jews. fcking nub

  • hahahah settle down people u guys r fuked, wats the song called?

  • Smooth freestyle for someone who's been practicing for only a couple of months, using wooden(!!) nunchaku's! Cool! Keep it up!

  • I gotta add one thingy ... nice music xD

  • haha thanks, I accidentally found that track online literally days before making the vid.

  • i have to get a camra i know kata as well with the nunchaku well with defences check my site out at angela20302001

  • Nice!! Im getting my first nunchucks soon! That looked cool.... how long did it take to learn the basic first moves? did you use books or stuff like that...?

    Nice vid! 5*

  • Didn't take too long to get the initial hang of it...maybe a week. I learned from Youtubers' vids. Enjoy em.

  • I gotta get a camera.. nice moves dude keep it up!

  • yeah very nice check me out on mine i gaveb you loads of ratings for video mine is angela20302001

  • my bad dude forgot i posted on this

ive been lookin at it a few times though very good

  • very smooth with one nunchuck now you have to transfer it to 2! ;F keep up good work

  • very smooth with one nunchuck you just need to be just as smooth with 2 ;F

  • Yupz. That tip totally applies 8 months ago...but now, I'm no longer smooth with even one lol. Thanks for watching and the tip my friend.

  • Excellent... you have mastered all seven shades of video editing. And nunchaku too.

  • Haha seven shades? I thought there were 4? Seriously...what are you talking about? Thanks for the comment anyways though

  • dude, awesome. Chucks are my favorite weapon ever. For showing off, for fighting ninjas, for everything. All those "how to nunchuck" books are great for picking up new moves, but there's no better way to learn it than by screwing around. whooooo.

  • Dude I've watched all of your nunchaku videos,I have to say, they are really useful. Keep it up!

  • Thanks! Made my day!

  • dude that's awesome

Can I ask where didi you get all those move??

  • Yes you can ask...and I got em from watching people from Youtube and practicing. Eventually, I started to figure out different transitions and passes...but yeah. Hope that answers it.

  • Good idea :D

  • It's a pity there is no such song :P

  • Make one...then youtube it!

  • excelent for only afew months practise man good work

  • Hahahah nice video, your skills are awesome, the sense of humor is also geat :) And the music matches the vid though nunchaku is japanese and kung fu chinese (why did i say it, everyone knows it anyway) :P

  • Hehe, There's no song that goes. "Ever7body go Japanese Fighting...Woooaaaa!!!"

  • u have great technique nice vid

  • dude, i must say you've given me some inspiration with this vid, you say its only been a few months and that you suck.. well let me tell you, you definatly do NOT suck, sure when you freestyle your bound to make a couple mistakes here and there but dang dude that was pretty sweet! Great vid 10/10.

  • vry nice i hav nunchuks onnly jst learnin but ur pattern was awesome how longs it take to learn that nd hav the speed?

  • Um I first had this ugly pair which were dead heavy and a really long chain...So I sorta learned everything on that. After I bought the pair I'm using in this vid, it was extremely easier than the other ones cause these are lighter and shorter chained.

  • stuff looks good ^_^ i have 2 of my own but i'm afraid of knocking myself KO xD

i think i should just try it anway;) keep it up man :D

  • yeah your pretty deep still, i was practicing for a while considering you've taught yourself the flow of the movement with them is decent,i better start practicing again.

  • how can u make it so fast|O|"

i cant make it as fast as u /_\

u r very well to play Nunchaku =]

  • The speed comes after you've clubbed your own head and foot a few times...after that you're no longer afraid of the chucks and you will spin the hell out of em.

  • hahahah =)

im prolly too chicken.. but im gonna try anyways =)

  • Yeah! You da man, man!

  • thats fucking it...im gnna make and learn those things as well... :D u r the best...

  • Hells yeah! Go for it!

  • haha np man no problem....

ur awesome with those. im so jealous =P

could you possibly hurt someone really bad, or defend yourself if you had to fight?

cuz i know they are more demonstrative

  • #1- Hey thanks for commenting

#2- Yeah I could hurt someone pretty bad if I had the intention to...cause I've unintentionally let them chucks hit me, ouch...bruise size of half a ping-pong ball.

  • Is nunchaku easy

  • If you practice :)

Flexible weapons are harder to get a hold of...versus solid pieces like bo staves, or swords.

  • wow.. i posted something but it didnt show up...

    anyways,

yeah im jealous of you. ur really good though

and it seems that its easy to get pretty good

i should take lessons or start or something =P

  • No need to be jealous young grasshoppa...you shall learn after several bruisings. In life, we call that the method of "Trial & Error." As long as the error doesn't involve death, you're all goot!

Thanks for commenting Alaskan Cod Fish

  • wow.. i SOO envy you guys!

i wish i could learn nanchakus.... so bad

taking lessons would be awesome, and from what you guys say, it seems like its not SUPPERR hard. cuz you're so good but u say u've only been doing it for a while. maybe i could get that good one day.. loolll

but i dont wanna bruise myself too bad.

  • He's good but u know,it's not that hard... I've learned using nunchakus in a couple of weeks looking at one video my dad bought me. Then I started developing my own tricks (meaning they weren't on the video) and when i got a little more confident i've litten up my nunchaks on fire and it's really great. Now that i've seen this vid you made me wanna take the chucks out of their bag an start training again.

Thx TrueMusous for remembering me i liked nunchakus.P.S. Great Vid!!!!

  • you're too good to NOT be taking lessons...

  • The only lesson I've learned is how not to hit myself. If you revolve your training aroudn the concept of not bruising yourself...you're good to go!

  • I think you are also too hard on yourself. That's real talent. I't takes years for some people to even get that far with speed and power. So keep it up.

  • I tried being soft on myself once...it didn't work.

Thanks for the comments! Much appreciated.

  • You're too hard on yourself, man! I wish I knew a few of the tricks you do... Rock on!

  • thanks ,it would have looked kinda strange I admit that, that was a bad advice for that moment ,but still a littlebit more moving then it will be perfect vid. :DD

  • ure really gooooooooood! and the video is mad funny too. peace n blessings

  • one tip.. MOVE!! it looks much more interesting and powerful ,when you imagine your opponents and try to hit them ,believe me ,but still very good vid ,keep on practising. :DD

  • I would have moved, but I might have looked kinda ridiculous striking invisible ninjas. :P

  • awesome vid man ,good job. :D how lond have you been messing around with nunchuks? more tutorial videos please. I learned the wrist roll from your tutorial video ,so thank you. :DD sorry my spelling mistakes ,my mother tonque isn´t english. Keep on working ,dude.

  • haha thanks. I've been messing around with em over the summer mainly...(when this video was taken) so about 3-4 months (when the video was taken) No problem, your english is much more understandable than half the nim-wits on the internet.

  • great video, good sense of humour as well. can you put up a video showing how you spin the chuck in front of you. I would like to learn that.

  • The wrist roll? i have a few vids explaining it. Check it out

  • Nah mate. Its the one where you say hold on a sec, at around 2min 8 sec. You seem to use both your hands to continously spin the nunchaku in front of you.

  • oh heh, i was actually just messing around that day and discovered it. Just put the chuck vertically and use both of your index fingers and make a circle motion on both ends of the chain. it's not really some sorta combat move to say the least. It's fun though, try not to hit yourself in the face when doing it cause...well it's right there spinning infront of your face...G'LUCK

  • Cheers i will give it a go. Seeing as your the first person I have seen do it, what are you going to name the move?

  • I will name it..."Flipper the Dolphin"

  • uhhhmm, that's your choice lol. I tried the move, and I smacked myself straight in my chin. It does look good though. cheers again!

  • Haha, so it got ya in the chin eh? I got myself on the collar bone...ouch.

  • I notice that he is using long nunchuck, which is easy to work with long pass but hard to control. I have only short one, which make me hard to do back pass from shoulder to belly.

  • Wow... I have a nunchaku but i don't know how to learn stuff xD

  • i like your skills friend!!

  • Just one criticism: despite having a great grasp of the English language you clearly have no idea what the slang term "suck" means! lol

Nice to see somebody with a sense of humour doing this stuff. Make some more.

  • According to Merriam-Webster:

"suck; verb -to draw (as liquid) into the mouth through a suction force produced by movements of the lips and tongue <sucked milk from his mother's breast>"

    I did miss use it...lol

  • wicked dude, this vid was fun to watch:)

    peace.

  • i have to say - that was really entertaining! Good stuff =D

  • Hey Dude,

I started screwing around with a pair of foam Nunchaku and now I have 2 Maple Hardwood 12" Chucks and I was wondering if you could explain how to spin forward and back like you do repeatedly. I got the spin over the wrist down but I need to learn how to spin the other way so I can regain control and get the chuck to a striking position like over the shoulder. I hope you can do something to help me out thanks bro.

  • I have it made, Hour after you posted! 3 hours for the sunovahbitch to upload!

  • Please don't tell me you learned all of this on youtube cause i think i just found what i'll do this summer. Really good btw you make smoe other look like newbs.

  • OKay I won't tell you..lol

    Thanks for the compliments too

  • Rest in pieces! xDDDDD

  • good job dude!

  • Man you're awesome, im just getting some nunchaku now and ill be happy if i can do just some of the shit you can

  • How'd you learn? Did you just use intuition, or did you actually read a book or watch a video?

  • Truthfully...I looked at a lot of videos on Youtube :)

Then I went to my backyard to practice a lot.

It was the summer and I had a lot of time on my hands.

  • Great! My son will love this~

  • You really good man ! I hope i gonna be 1/4 good as you !

  • you are amazing... you defenatly don't suck, i suck if you wan't to be sure from that. watch my video...

  • hey! you dont suck..youre amazing..i suck with nunchaku..as you can see -> check my videos

  • I was laughing hard as hell at the end lol, and you kept me entertained for 6 minutes, thats a feat, trust me, so you must not suck, keep em comin dude.

  • lol jeese man you are very humble and critical about yourself. You're pretty amazing man, very humorous too lol. Ya I made one video just to make one I guess and I feel stupid making it because most of the people on here just seem to make movies and not to actually share content or information, but I feel you successfully shared cool content. Anyway how'd you get started with nunchaku?

  • Haha thanks for the comments, you're quite kind.

I started nunchaku cause my cousin bought a really ugly pair for me. This sucker was ugly. It was heavy and had an amazingly long chain. A beginner's nightmare. After brusing myself pretty bad the first day I got it, I stopped messing around with it for a year or so.

Then one day, I just thought I'd dust em off and start em up again. I got fairly proficient with them within several weeks and a bunch of bruises.

    Thanks for the comment again.
