It is amazing how a song can go far beyond a game, it was perfect for the game ( a big adventure with the "Ocarina of Time")

No, the sound used is a combination of piano and strings. The string sound is not sustained as the piano sound by the pedal, only by holding down the keys. That seems to be an advantage when playing, not accumulating to many string notes when the pedal is down.
