@jwebb232 @jwebb232 I did not know that. I did have Alexander and Elemental paired together in Cloud's armor, so that helped a bit, but then Holy broke my Elemental Materia, and I had to rely on my Final Attack + Phoenix to keep me alive. Constant fear of one of them breaking...

you might have won if you did final attack + phoenix instead of final attack+ revive, that way you would revive everyone who got KOed instead of just yourself, It proved that you would have lasted that much longer at the end, when you couldn't even attack before dying again.

Yeah, if you morph turquoise weapon, you get the jenova key which unlocks jenovas door in Nibelhiem, once in the room Sephiroth joins your party, and he comes equiped with the black materia!

@DeadPixel2009 You forgot the part where he also comes equiped with the Jenova summon, However, you still can't change his materia, but those 2 new materia from before are what really makes him powerful later in the game.

@jwebb232 Don't forget about the Final Boss changing to Aeris if you use the Jenova Summon on Bizarro Sephiroth. She was such a bitch to beat! But, at least you get to see what Holy looks like inside battle if you fight her, and that's kinda worth the hard boss fight.

@maniamaster2 yeah, I know, it's hard fighting her, and Holy? ZOMG at the chance of your materia breaking!! I mean, taking 9999 damage on your characters is one thing, and her getting healed by the accumulated damage is bad too, but if your final attack materia breaks, you're screwed!

Yep, that's Final Attack materia paired with Revive materia. It stopped casting because at max level, it'll only trigger 5 times.

I've never opened up the coding files in FF7, but supposedly there was another weapon started called Sapphire (maybe also called Turqoise?).

You were suppose to be able to find him by battling on the beaches near Rocket Town over and over, eventually finding him. He appears in the vid where they all are released for a split second... supposedly. I haven't seen him, but I haven't looked so... Great Vid though on a great hommade battle!

There IS a Sapphire Weapon....but it's the weapon that attacks Junon and gets killed soon after, and it's the only weapon you NEVER fight against.

"Supposedly" you'd fight him going by that rumor or some other ones, but he's not in the game coding at all; there's no battle sprite of it, no status, no attacks...nothing at all.

I've been thinking of doing a homebrew emerald myself. But, with mine, all attacks and speed stats are reduced to 0, but HP is boosted to an insane amount - and the timer remains. Less a battle, than, 'can you do X damage within 20 minutes'.

Not sure what sort of HP I'd need to set it at, though. Oh, and measures would be taken to prevent DP glitching (perhaps defence boosting, or flagging Vincent as dead for the fight).
