Bllstzr said that the maker of this video was still trying to get headshots on crouched enemies, and that by now he should know that crouched enemies can't have headshots inflicted on them. You then said that at 1:50 a crouched enemy DID in fact managed to have a headshot inflicted, thus supposedly proving blldstzr incorrect. I then said that that particular enemy wasn't in fact crouched, but merely standing in a trench, enabling a headshot to be inflicted (meaning that blldstzr was correct).
I've noticed it more and more, but you really are too aggressive for your own good. You'll totally forgo ending in cover just to piss away a shooting phase on something you'll never kill.
You also advanced too few units so you end up with one or two guys out front and totally exposed drawing all the fire. You'd get more done by moving everyone ahead slowly.
I get the feeling you don't play many strategy games?
That depends really, certainly that moving all but slowly is an efficient strategy, but it is time consuming and occasionally tedious. Whereas moving few units could be quite fun.
The main problem is not that he's moving too few units, but rather that he's wasting quite a few CPs doing little.
And a lot of the strategy is in positioning your units so that they can shoot the enemy while they are moving while staying covered. Especially your scouts (good range, decent firepower).
You're sort of on the right track, he gets lazy and doesn't take cover, or use up his squad properly, but finishing quick is actually one of the most important parts of this game.
I don't know if he'd be able to reach the enemy, considering that his action bar may run out, but that's what the Dead Ringer is for, saving you if you screw up.
It's probably smarter you throw a grenade on the enemy that are behind cover. You do more damage with a grenade than bullets on enemies behind cover.
Because the enemy got a bullet damage reduce "buff" when they are behind cover. :P
