The rating is made up from other countries including France and China.O and sometimes groups that ran us into the global economic crisis get to decide the U.S.As credit score. ... fun huh?

Dear ignorant video ranter, the majority of the current debt is the Bush era Tax cuts - which are ongoing because the republicans ( recently voted in by the people) wouldn't negotiate on them. The government isn't actually doing anything too wild with money, it's just people (mostly wealthy) aren't paying as much in taxes as they used to and SHOULD be, and haven't done for almost a decade, that shit adds up. 2nd biggest factor is the 2 ongoing wars. Every other factor is minor bullshit.

People don't get that "welfare" includes any program that benefits a person/people without them paying into it. This includes subsidies that corporations like gas companies receive even though they are earning record profits. It included the bailouts of the banks and GM. Corporate welfare far exceeds anything that a handful of individuals receive.

In 2009, individuals paid $4 trillion in income taxes, corporations paid $250 billion-why shouldn't tax money be spent on the people paid for it?

@Vanessamdel Hate to stir the pot, but AFDC stopped in 96 so those statistics are almost 15 years old at newest. Since 70%+ of the population in this country is white, it's pretty impressive that blacks manage to exceed the amount of whites on welfare or even come close. The difference between the ratio of whites on welfare to their total population vs blacks on welfare to their total population is MASSIVE. Not agreeing with the person you replied to, just stating facts.
