In my list the Reaper would be first, then the chainsaw majini (it comes back to life), and the Executioner. U-8 is not even scary except the first time you see the cutscene. Honourable mention goes to the crocodiles and the chickens.

Okay, apparently since it's been brought up, the adjule is rumored to be BASED off of the aliens in The Thing. The resemblance comes from the tentacles. It is also RUMORED that adjule is based from one of the Silent Hill games; a dog in that series also has a split head.

What the hell? Seriously? RE5 is NOT very scary at all. The only 'scary' part of the game is the part with the Lickers, and that's just a 'tense' situation, not pure fear that you'd find in the later parts of RE4 or any other game preceeding.
