Nicely done. Not the easiest piece to play from memory or tab / score. Vai was hired for being able to transcribe Zappas music. Its a whole new league of playing.

Nice one. Your guitar looks like the Ibanez Prestige RG1570 in cosmo black. I used to have the same model but found the neck too thin and the stock pickups a bit muddy. It's hard to tell how good the tone on this vid as you're playing over the synth original which gives a fatter unison harmony. Great job though. Be honest though, this wasn't your first attempt was it? It's good to be humble.

@twenkmcwanzer hey, thanx for the feedback. I uploaded some other videos and others will follow soon, if you enjoy zappa stuff. Of course this wasn't my first attempt at playing the song, I've practiced like hell. I meant this was the first attempt at recording it on video, and it came out pretty decent I think. Point is, there will be other recorded attempts, when I feel I can play the rest of the song at a good level (the other half of the song has lots of infernal licks).

As for the tabs for the songs I've uploaded, they exist, but they're either unfinished (Night School) or need to be revised (this is the case for "Fembot..." which for some reason is a complete mess and has nothing to do with what I'm actually playing). wow man, nice job, i only have one thing to say about it though. You have to stop anchoring your pinky on the guitar, i dont say that because of looks, but you can actually get injuries from keeping it like that. I had that problem a long time before i started floating over the strings. And for a long time my pinky would get sore as ever. it was horrible. ive heard of some people that have to have their hand looked at it because of it, otherwise, awesome job =D
