See i wanted to start with 2 strands like you did. but i started with the rope twist and it doesn't look the way i want it to be. So im cutting my hair and starting over. The little ones were kinda rough but it's all because it was different to them. We'll I'm looking out for my fellow sister's! We just had a women in Cohasset Mass who was on face book making derogatory comments and and now she's out of a job...as I said just be careful. But as you said you don't like to take advice....you like to learn on your own! So my bad!

@Brownsug66 yea, I hear horror stories all the time about facebook, I've actually had to address it with my staff. I started a fan page for my students to keep them tucked away from my personal page. I'm not teaching right now but I work with school agers so I know that I gotta watch my back. I wasn't coming at you at all, I appreciate you lookin out for a sis...for real!

Girl, doesn't it make u feel good when other ppl notice that your hair is locing. Sister, although it may look like fuzzy twists, there's alot going on in that coil. But, I agree with your boyfriend saying locs looking "dry." I know mine appear 2 look dry, but I oil them. Probably not as much I should, however. But 2 much oil attracts dirt and debris.
