Brandon was a way better drummer for the Used than Dan will ever be. Listen to Artwork--the drumming patterns are so basic, listen to Watered Down (for example, rookie drummers can play that with ease). Brandon was way more talented--listen to Say Days Ago, A Box Full of Sharp Objects, Just A Little, etc. Everyone seems to think Brandon has no personality or is too boring and not fun, but (as much as I love Bert) I think Bert's antics would get old and immature after a while. Long live Brandon

this is what i have found out. branden got kicked out of the band by bert over the phone while he was back in utah. and he started drumming for rancid on the side, the used said they didnt feel he was apart of them, one reason he was doing stuff with rancid, another (not the main reason) he didnt do drugs with them. its sad because there new music doesnt have the same feel without branden and his beats. the used are not on talking terms with branden since i heard.
