There is being what is there in front of you, but not as it or as you, and not as a thing, not as the experiencing of a thing by a thing. This is “grounding” (grounding being fullness or completeness or love or bliss), without anything. This is grounding or connection or having… by no one to or of nothing. It’s just simply grounding by itself. No one does it or has it.
Hm. I found that rather a confused interview, like we never really got to the point of his experience. Imean I know we did at the end, but it was almost like there was something missing in it. I'll listen again and see. Ian is - as ever - an excellent interviewer, it certainly wasnt for lack of trying I feel...
I think you'll be saying the same after any spiritual teacher interview, because the thing is that they are not saying anything, cus there is really nothing to say about what already is. And we are conditioned to be waiting for some secret teaching. So these guys go around saying to people that there is nothing secret to be understood, you are already conciousness.
hehe, I agree with you, I dont think he really had the essence of many other spiritual teachers.
Many teachers i'm sceptic for first few seconds, then suddenly I just connect with something they say, some deep recognition inside myself. I didnt really feel that at any point here.
You are of course fundamentally correct Kalalmc, everything just is...but I do get value from the interviews with consciousTV, their experience and/or perspective is nearly always interesting, I just got some feeling of reluctance from sundance or a sort of wavering around each question..
yes, thats it totally, i didnt get any connection from him, almost like he wasnt really concentrating, all too ambiguous, not enough clarity. Perhaps he just isnt a very good speaker. I know if it were me under the spotlight, I would be all umm's and err's so I'm not really in a position to judge!
What I seem to get out of this is:

@awake1010 Is this interview available on DVD by any chance? I find I can meditate just listening to this discussion.
