  • He said "a tube of brylcream" or "one tube of brylcream" -- now wait a second...does that mean he used the entire tube on his hair....or wait....maybe he used the rest of the tube for something else!!!

  • Brylcreem users back then were called "greasers".

Wretched stuff, you could smell it 20 feet away.

  • Wow, that is as crappy as todays commercials.

  • So.......is it Brylcreem or Ky?

  • That girl is hot, but if she came out of that tube she'd be greasy as hell. To the poster (MattTheSaiyan): Brylcreem is an iconic hair preparation for men that was in its heyday in the 1950s (the famous jingle "Brylcreem, a little dab'll do ya"), and was essential in the predominate hairstyle for teenaged men of that era, the "D.A." or "Duck's Ass", which is very much identified with Fonzie from "Happy Days". Hair products like that were often referred to as "greasy kid stuff".

  • My dad was the man who's marketing and advertising wit help launch many of Brylcreem's commercials during this era. Don Keenan was a marketing genius of his time.

  • GREASY KID STUFF...

  • *Insert predictable "Brylcreem-as-masturbatory-aid" joke here*

  • @electrogeek77 Been there...done that! LOL!

  • yep, silly :)

  • just don't get that stuff too close to the candles -- his hair will catch fire
