Wow great song and thanx for uploading with lyrics but... I don't understand why you cut off the conclusion of the Ballad of Bill Hubbard? The song just ends too abruptly without it imho... cheers.
Goodbye great music. Hello shitty "music". No more emotion, no more hidden messages, no more artistic lyrics, no more brilliant solos, voices, musical notes and effort to make great music. Hello retarded lyrics about fucking women, drugs and money . Hello 4 shitty albums in one year per "band", random sounds, lack of real life instruments, auto-tune, lack of emotion, lack of everything that is original and gives you shivers down your spine.
@trynabcool no, I was born in the twentieth century, in the mid nineties. I suppose I could have said "born into it" rather "in it". Either way, I was born after this album was released and after kurt cobain died and even when I was alive in the tail end of the twentieth century, I was too young to remember much of it. I was born in the twentieth, but grew up in the twenty first. I dont like it too much, but oh well haha. at least I have the internet to find the "good music" :)
@nayrniak What a great way of putting things in respective when it comes to your way of thinking how music is today and the lack of any real life.Words like bitch fuck kill pig and rap,the problem with todays society is the bump bump of the base as the gun goes bang, bang, and the words" bitch what are you going to do now mf.Oh do you have any crack or meth look at your teeth. What a fuvked up nself centered world. a waste and it sucks
this album... my god... this album opened my eyes & changed my life. my dad introduced it to me when i was 14. Ive listened to it ever since. Its helped deepen the understanding of myself & humanity in general. And this song makes me cry. Every time.
Pure genius, from the 1970's and on, Roger remains the ultimate artist and musician. Actually, he's practically evidence that there is a God!! Thank God for George Roger Waters!!!
I heard this the first time and said it was prophetic, I stand by that in the moment. I love all things Floys so by default ALL of Roger's stuff. I have a ticket to see him in June. I think this album to be his best work on a personal level.
Would it be fair to say that this is pretty much the perfect companion peice to Leonard Cohen's The Future, released the same year? Those vocals tell me it is.
I listened to this once, then again, then probably once more after this. It's so peaceful, more so than any other song I have ever heard before. It is amazing.
GREAT! GREAT! GREAT! GREAT! GREAT! GREAT! GREAT! GREAT! GREAT! GREAT!
