@wolfwolf31 are you serious? man knows the surface on the moon better than the bottom of the sea. if someone lit a match on the moon, we'll know about it (even though it's not possible to light a match on the moon)
In my seventh period in school everyone was glued to it cause i had the live feed and someone in the back said "i bet its gonna fall" , we all turned back and said shut up
I've been in love with the space shuttle since I was a young kid and I've only just discovered that the shuttle flies in an arch instead up straight up into space.
Go to Kennedy Space Center's website & sign up for email event notifications... they will email the day & time tickets will go on sale - be ready as soon as the tickets go on sale, those thigns sell out within minutes. If that doesn't work then u will have to go through a tour company who charges around $100 (Gray-Line Orlando is your best bet, they have tickets all the way up to the launch date). Good Luck
@mikek7268 idk if you know this but that was the last planned flight, I'm sure you can still go and see other rockets though, just not the Space shuttle.
@running4fun77 I do photography work out @ KSC, no this was not the last planned flight. Several launches have occured since, I watched Discovery blastoff on STS-133 from the press site just the other day. Endeavour launches 1 last time in mid-April, & Atlantis launches on THE final shuttle mission on STS-135 this summer...
@running4fun77 that was not the last planned flight, Endeavour flies again April 19 on STS-134, THAT is Endeavour's last mission. Atlantis will launch on THE last shuttle mission, STS-135, in late June. I do media photography out there...

wasn't this NASA's last space shuttle to go into space.I heard they r making a new type of space exploration aircrafts.

So at what point did the shuttle leave the atmosphere and enter into space? You can't really tell. At least I can't.
McTaggStar 1 year ago
@McTaggStar No you can't. The doors to space were wide open that day. It didn't have to stop at all.
