Plus, it's supposed to be obnoxious and over the top, that's why it's funny. Carrie's mean and sarcastic and Doug is laid back, yet sometimes a dummy. The two actors have chemistry that works, I really don't know why you hate it so much. What are your favorite sitcoms? There's a lot of good ones. My fav is the Golden Girls.
